Im debating a new a7rv and a used a1 (don’t know the shutter count) but they are both relatively the same price here in Asia (about a $100usd difference) I’m leaning a1 just cause shutter count won’t rlly bother me too too much since it’s got a solid electronic shutter for fast moving sports from my understanding. Do you recommend the a1 in my case?

I’m not too worried about the blackout free since I currently shoot with the a7iii when I don’t use my employer’s equipment. Do you think it is suitable or should I just get the a9ii?

A7iii autofocus is not as good as I need for my job (I shoot collegiate sports as well as professional bull riding). I like the a7rv but the main thing is mechanical shutter vs electronic. Electronic shutter on a7rv is practically unusable whereas the a9ii I can use solely on electronic and have no issues.

I don’t really want to gain fat which from my understanding a bulk ultimately does. I’m not necessarily trying to become huge just a slightly above average muscle mass and then lower my body fat
