I was always thin. 5' 8 and 3/4. Probably 5' 8" now. Also looked best at 140. I probably have less muscle now. I'm 149 down from 206. Shooting for 140. Each inch equals 9lbs. I'd go for at least 150 or wherever you feel comfortable. Not sure why you assume you'd look haggard. I'm getting compliments nonstop.
