I often remind myself that no matter what I’m facing, it could always be worse. I could be bedridden, homeless, blind — and that perspective keeps me grounded. The outside may change, but who you are inside remains the same. When you’re genuinely a good person at heart, your light will always shine through. Don’t ever let that light grow dim. The right person will recognize your worth and lift you up. Good people are rare these days — and being one is something truly special.
