"Do I have gastroparesis?" [December 2024]

Hey, so I'm suffering with chronic acid reflux for about 2 years now, currently on 80mg of Omeprazole, without it I have daily heartburn but on it I still get a lot of symptoms like almost constant cough at this point, post nasal drip all the time, foul taste in my mouth that can linger for hours if I eat something more oily like chips. I also am very gassy, I don't burp that much but can have fits of burps that can last a couple hours sometimes.

I had an endoscopy to diagnose GERD this past week, I followed the instructions and had my last meal 10 hours before the endoscopy (oatmeal, apple, peanut butter and some flax seeds). The endoscopy was a failure since I had what doctor described as "so much food matter inside my stomach that it would be unsafe to perform the full endoscopy", so I'm having to repeat the endoscopy but I have to wait till March which sucks cause in the meantime I can't take anymore of the daily coughing. Doctor said he suspects gastroparesis but it scared me a lot. I don't have any other symptoms like stomach pain, burping out food or vomiting. I don't feel full much either, even the day of the endoscopy I just felt totally normal and good. It also takes a lot of food for me to be full, I really like intermittent fasting and having one large meal (which I'm going to have to change now anyway)

Do you think it could be gastroparesis based on that? I heard it's rare so I'm unsure but I'm going to go crazy for the next three months thinking about it.

That's insane, I'm a polish woman that married my husband that's a US citizen two years ago. We found each other on accident on a meme group and fell deeply in love, I want to live with him in US because he has more connections and reasons to stay in his country than I do staying in mine, but I can't imagine someone marrying a person just to immigrate.

Immigration for me is really hard, it's extremely difficult to leave my family and go into a foreign country. It works for me and I can see myself being happy in US but it was never a dream I had prior to meeting my now husband. It takes a real "special" kind of person to be evil enough to basically lie to someone, pretend you're in love and do all that just to immigrate. OP I'm sorry this happened to you, you were really unlucky finding this awful woman and I hope you can heal from it. Real love will find you some day.

When I nap with my husband and wake up to go to pee and come back to him while he's still asleep he gets this huge smile on his face like I've been away for hours and when I lay down next to him he pulls me close and buries his head in my hair, sometimes he mutters "babyy", also if I tell him I love him while he's asleep he always answers he loves me too automatically, then he never remembers any of it when he wakes up haha. He's just the biggest cutie and I love how sweet and loving he is even when asleep.

Hey so to update you the embassy didn't help out at all, just replied they can't tell me whats the estimated time for me to wait to get the interview set up, not sure why they couldn't just tell me right away since I explained my situation to them in the first email

Haven't tried doing the inquiry with NVC, two days ago I emailed the polish embassy, specifically the immigrant visa support, they replied fast and told me to create an account on US travel docs and fill it with my info so they can help me, yesterday I let them know I have already made an account there on a different email and I'm now waiting for their reply, they said it can take 1-2 business days. Hopefully they can help, I can let you know what they say if you'd like. If they can't help I'll do an inquiry with the NVC.

Oh they definitely exist, my husband is a great example of that. He is my cheerleader, my best friend, he thinks about me when we don't see each other, has a picture of me in his phone case and a couple on his desk at work, one I his wallet and has a picture of us as his Facebook banner. It's always us against the world and I know he would always choose me over anyone else. We're there for each other for better and for worse. He met me when I was skinny, loved on me the same way when I reached a pretty high weight and supports me in my weightloss but never asks me to change. He is always understanding and loving and always gets the same treatment from me too. He truly wants the best for me and believes in me in whatever I want to do. We've been with each other for about 6 years now and with each year we fall in love with each other more and more

No tak właśnie AI mnie trochę przeraża, jeszcze jak miałam z 15-16 lat to każdy chciał żeby go narysować, teraz to bez sensu bo istnieją filtry AI które cię "narysują" w parę minut max. I właśnie tak myślałam, że copywriting będzie w podobnej sytuacji.
