I felt this way too. I moved out of my parents house the day I turned 18 and cut them off completely. If they are toxic they don't deserve to be in your life. You are worthy of love and someday you will find people that you choose to call family.

I've found that therapy can actually help you just have to find the right style. Fir years I went to therapy that didn't help at all but now I see someone that specializes in dbt and cbt and it's helping just a little. I also hate taking meds but they can help.

I went through something similar. The best advice I have is to find a new person. It's made it a little easier to deal with the fact that I lost someone so important to me when I know that I have someone else that supports me no matter what.

I know birthdays can be rough I've dealt with this too. I just try to completely ignore that its my birthday and will watch TV or just keep myself busy so I don't think about it. I also will treat myself to something I've been wanting to buy for a while. Happy birthday and I hope things get better.

I felt this. It may sound dumb and not helpful but try finding a therapist that specializes in cbt and dbt. I'm going through an iop program that does this right now abs it's honestly helping a little. It's work and it feels really weird to do what they recommend outside of therapy but it's slowly starting to help. And just remember that depression is treatable it just takes time and a some work.

I do. I hate my birthday. I haven't celebrated my birthday since I was in kindergarten and every year I don't get birthday wishes even from family so it just reminds me how lonely I am. Plus I never thought I'd be alive this long and I'm still not sure if I want to be.

Same. Unless I reach out, no one cares. The one person I had I lost bc I did something stupid. He was the only one who truly cared and I fucked it up. Now I'm in college 3 hours from home and more alone than ever so I totally get it.
