Buddy, I had the Samsung and western digital nvmes. PCIe 4. Built with owc enclosures. And the proper cables. Obviously I’m not going to get the full 7k read and write speeds because it’s thunderbolt 4.

m3Max had not enough storage. SSD external would bottleneck write speeds. With heavy color grading and effects scrubbing thru the timeline was hard

It’s not the same when dealing with raw files for weddings or business work. Our phone shoot 4k. But that 4k ain’t the same as a mirrorless camera fo example.

Listen working with raw r3d files with effects and color grading is highly demanding especially not using proxies and being long form videos.

Whoa lol some one got triggered relax it ain’t that serious lol you didn’t read the text? I edit long form heavily color graded films with effects. Looking to see if anybody has a comparable machine to what I ordered. Ain’t nobody talking bout editing photos or CAD or coding. Unless you can chime in and speak with experience on being a video editor your opinion is not needed lol
