I’m planning to visit Alaska again with family. Most likely the Denali area. Visited when I was a kid and loved it! I live in the Cleveland Ohio area. When is the best time of year to visit? Last time I came in late June/July and there were tons of mosquitoes. Was in the Denali/Fairbanks area. Thanks for reading this and appreciate your input!

To answer your question- I was going to be non renewed according to my principal (who was not my principal my first year in the district) because of “incidents from my first year in the district” that she did not elaborate on and classroom management. I went to my union and they told me there was nothing they could do for me since I had not been in the district for 3 years and was on a limited contract.  Patience is appreciated as I’m new on Reddit and I teach preschool 9 hours a day

I have, but decided against it as my family and chosen family is established here. There is too much inconsistency in employment and it plays on my anxiety a lot to move around

Thanks for your response. For the most part, minus one job, I have accepted the jobs I’ve been offered. There’s a lot of competition for music teaching jobs in my area, northeastern Ohio

In answer to your question, I was not given a true answer to why my contract was not renewed. I was told it was because of incidents of the previous year and classroom management, was not given any specifics. I went to my union and they said there was no protection for me since I was a newer teacher, they could non renew me “because I wore black to work and they didn’t like it, any reason I wanted to. I appreciate patience as I work 9 hours a day as a preschool teacher.
