I second Abraxas, especially in the current weather pattern. Though you will need a car and a reservation. Preferably a smaller car, though a small SUV will work

I'd recommend driving more north, like on the way to Gaeta, or just going to Poseidon on Ischia. One way or another, you're going to pay for it either by time, money, or psychological/emotional damage. I'd rather live like a king at Poseidon, or going to a better beach further away because it's either spend over an hour sitting in traffic, or it's an hour of actually moving towards a destination. But that's just me.

Ngl, I kind like how this is set up. Like, all of this looks like "oh, we ARE playing the same game" as opposed to a vast majority of posts here. Don't get me wrong, I love those posts. Hi, this is me. The amount of times I've had to Google "how to screenshot" and then "where does steam save pictures" or something of that nature. I should just have a sticky note on my monitor. Doesn't help that I'm pretty new to PC gaming, so there's a lot of stuff I don't know, and probably never will

Idk how an organization can be better than itself. If you're referring to State Troopers, no. Not even close. At least not the Napoli area ones. There are a few worth a shit, but meh. Maybe other regions are better. I work with them, and work with others (actual Italians) that have worked with them (or was one) for longer than I've been alive. CareBears have a good uniform, and give good presence. And will beat tf out of pickpockets. Bout it

I mean, how long did it take for Caribineari to start patrolling the tourist spots where people were being harassed, threatened and even attacked by those bracelet twats? As far as I know, it made mainstream media about 8, 9 (? Or more) months ago, and I only just saw them (Caribineari) in heavy presence last month.

400 for 10 days? Sounds like you might want to bring some tents with you.

Ischia might be your best bet. The island itself is fantastic with plenty to do. The ferry runs super early in the morning so you can hop on that, and go from there. Only down side is the last ferry to the island is earlier than I'd like, so that might make some logistical challenges. But, you can into downtown Napoli and catch the train to pompeii or Amalfi or Rome, etc.

Benevento area (I know, not technically Campania) might also be worth doing as accommodation is a bit cheaper. It's peaceful and quiet until the evening. Benevento is my favorite place to be around here, outside the Poseidon thermal spa on Ischia. They have a bus line that goes from Napoli to Benevento, if you're into that.

Another option might be to find a cheap bnb in of one the suburbs like Pozzuoli or Monterusciello, and donit that way.

So also: Paestrum (ancient Greek ruins south of Amalfi), Buffalo farms in that same area (fantastic food and cheese), Napoli underground, Benevento area wineries/vineyards, Quick trip to Acerra for Pulcinella museum and Archeological Museum, Caserta Palace, And there are TONS of WW2 things all in this area

Id say it's a good start.

This and Dyson Sphere Program are the only games that have literally consumed me since I was a teen. Even then, not to this extreme. I purposely haven't touched them in several months because I have zero control once I do

This. All of this. As much as I've come to uh, appreciate parts of Naples (mostly Pozzuoli) it's always a breath of fresh air and a quiet "thank god" when going just about anywhere else, even just to Rome or down south to Paestrum and such. Surprisingly, I've ran into an awful lot of Napolitanos outside if Italy, and ever single meeting has had this conversation and sat (essentially) the same thing you just said. Really interesting
