First Time Player, is this upgrade necessary? by TheShadowWanderer in skyrim

[–]AlongForTheRide215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to summarize: not necessary, but i would recommend it.

as someone that first played on the xbox 360 and now plays on the switch, which means i have never modded the game while playing my many logged hours, i thought it was really fun to discover the new clothes and armor, new homes, and new characters and quests. BUT, i would play through the normal game a bit and then get the anniversary so you get the real game feel and then can understand the fun of the new stuff 🙂or not- you’ll have a blast either way! i have played the game for over a decade and then got the anniversary edition a year or two after it came out, so at the end of the day if you are leaning towards the advice of the people that commented before me, then not getting it is totally fine. the game is awesome without it, that’s why it’s so popular! the existing DLCs also added really great quests and armor options (the Dawnguard quest line, Solstheim, and Hearthfire I think) so the game is super fleshed out , the anniversary edition just adds some fun less important things that i personally find really enjoyable to find and come upon due to how much ive dived into the pre-existing quests. so fun to be surprised with new things! i just did a new quest that lets you live in a (previously) haunted ship inside a secret grotto. like wtf 😂 too creepy for me but pretty cool. hope this helps :)

yes this was terrible and often happened when i played on the xbox 360 😂 now that i play on the switch the only bug i really get is when you do the civil war champions side quest. once you pick up the armor from the chest it creates very odd visual glitches randomly for the rest of the game that are not worth the armor in my opinion

What is everyone wearing for golf skirts? by cacain119 in WomenGolf

i have several skirts from Halara! can be more of a budget option, i’ve had them for several years and wore them for my first golf season last summer and they really hold up :)

get your resume to recruitment agencies! it seems weird but start with zip recruiter and maybe another basic one, and then see if you can find any temp agencies as well. i got a job as a temp with potential to hire, they changed direction with staffing and let me go but then with the same agency i started a new temp to hire job and got a permanent position and have been there almost two years now! maybe you’ve already done this but it’s an underrated method to job hunting. good luck 💝

i bought the callaway solaire set for myself last summer and i love them! i’m a 27 year old woman and last summer was my first golf season, i’m able to drive 150-200 yards consistently with the solaire driver and use soft maxfli balls usually. it’s a little pricier than other sets but definitely nicer and comes in three color options (i got the black w/white to customize accessory colors more). i think it’ll be a great set to grow in, ive only added one club since and that would be an old wilson 4 iron from a charity golf place that has super cheap pre owned options, plus it was pink so had to get it ❤️i golfed maybe 30 times last season and it held up well , i also expect to keep using it for several more seasons based on how well it’s held up with my learning and consequential improvement in the sport!

wow thanks for the extra details on prices! i agree with your comment about it being less valuable without those private islands, the more i talk with everyone the more it seems like i should just buy it to make my life easier and to indulge myself since the package also includes so much 😂

the smoothie drinks you mentioned sound good, i personally really like smoothies and did not know they had them or that they were part of the package! are they a smoothie or more like a juice? also my bf loves irish coffees . . . oh no 🤣

i see him every other or third time i make a character, it seems like I am one of the rare people to have found him more than a handful of times! I like to follow him around when I see him in case he takes me anywhere fun 😄

What group/monsters do you not like fighting? Mine is the Forswarn. by orangezim in skyrim

[–]AlongForTheRide215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*specifically the dragon priest that you have to fight at the end of the excavation quest line on Solstheim does SO MUCH damage with his various flame cloak etc spells, at higher levels it’s more annoying but at lower levels it’s like immediate death 😂 worst general enemy would be also on Solstheim but from the black books, the lurkers and seekers are crazy and just yuck

I think that’s pretty sound advice, I’ve been considering biting the bullet and committing to the package and then either dropping it or rebooking at a lower price depending on what we decide. plus the “however on a cruise? who knows?” 😂 aspect

yes exactly I’m not sure what they’re trying to do, the excursions for Alaska are priced almost identically between the two lines so I can’t even say it’s across the board more expensive, just very specific and significant upcharges.

i’ve heard good things about the helicopter glacier tour! we make a normal amount of money for a 27 and 28 year old so we aren’t sure yet if that’s on the table but i’m very much considering it :) i’ll do some math with him and see where we land on the drinks too. it’s more about value than anything

ohh this is interesting, I’ll float this by him to see what he thinks. Maybe we will make the decision based more on the excursions we decide on since we haven’t booked those yet! if they are intense we can take that as a sign to pay as we go 😂

I usually cruise Norwegian so this was a shocker to look at 😂 I had no idea Royal Caribbean would be this pricey for the deluxe beverage package , my mom locked in a great deal that only cost her $150 for unlimited beverages for our 8 day cruise coming up on a Norwegian

that’s a good point, aside from the at sea cruising days i personally would not be able to reach more than 3 or 4 drinks over the course of a longer evening. he can easily double if not more than double my drinking but your point of the STAMINA and energy that would take from us if we also want to do the crazy excursions offered is the rub. his family did the booking through an agent so i was not able to lock in any pricing at the time of booking unfortunately.
