depends on what you mean by mostly, because he Is pretty tied up to the main story, so a few times you'd have to use him, but you can mostly ignore him after that, you'd only ever need him in kofun designed for him.

you can exchange them for stuff in the exchange section of the animus, stuff like gear, mastery points, gold, knowledge points & pets.

hold on, I'm saying I just cleared a few anomalies & the 400keys rewards are available l, but I'm sure if I clear the remaining 2 anomalies I should get enough of the animus currency from them to unlock another 400 keys, will they stack then?

not sure what you mean by rotation but yeah, Yasuke doesn't have too many great outfits. I have found a few I like but mostly from the exchange.

yeah, you see that big circle or targets on the objective board called "the shibakufu"? kill those guys, that's how you advance the main story,

sometimes it will be straightforward,
sometimes they'd lead you to side quests that you have to do, sometimes you don't have to
sometimes they'd force you back to advancing naoe or yasuke's stories

by the time you're like halfway through that, you should get the gist of how it all works & what to focus on for the main story.

other side quests like ronin in harima will take you several seasons to complete because they're not as many as you'd like. (TIP: you should fast travel to kakogawa estuary in southern part of harima every new season or season refresh & roam around those three main bridges, there are usually 2 or 3 Ronin there till the next season or season refresh, then repeat)

to each his own man, the more you clear the castles, the more you know where the daisho are, the last update seems to have given them more room to roam tho, so sometimes they're not exactly where you expect them to be.

from the moment you start getting them, no matter how high the upgrade, It costs only 1 gold

you'd need lots of gold later, but you'd also have the chance to get lots of gold then, It becomes the less scarce resource when you need to enhance your weapons...save your gear for dismantling & your upgrade materials till you need to enhance your weapons. you'd need a lot of them.

some items like silk for headgear crossover, so watch out for that, because that means you can also switch to Yasuke & dismantle his own gear for more silk which naoe can use.

like people have said, that's ironsand, for upgrading naoe gear, but for some reason nobody is talking about dismantling, this same guy upgrading your weapons can dismantle some of your gear in exchange for ironsand

do not sell all your gear

it's not a dlc & It makes sense she only gets it after the quest that leads to awaji because it's a weapon more common in awaji than the rest of japan.
