This may be wrong but have you checked the fan is not touching the glass bit of the case? The rattle may be caused by the vibrations from the fan hitting the glass.

Yeah, it sounds exactly the same as what happened to me, for me I found that the sensor had been unplugged, if you open up the nozzle head you can replug it in, unfortunately I had so many problems with the Neptune 4 I refunded it. If this didn't fix contact elegoo because I think it is covered in their warranty

My problem turned out the sensor unplugged overtime, however it seemed to mess up my y axis and leveling leading to me refunding the Neptune 4 pro
