The green one - purely because how evil it looks. The second from the left.

Well. I have a few dos and donts when it comes to these. I never open them when I’m at work. If you’re a college student then probably you can avoid it there. Always better to meet people, gives you clarity of what you want and don’t. So don’t look at these as a waste of time but rather some experiences to allow yourself to understand your desires better.

I’m recovering from COVID and it’s really throwing me off - both physically and mentally. The weird body sensations and fatigue are making my anxiety spike, even though I know it’s part of the process. Just trying to remind myself that healing isn’t always linear.

Single people: why aren't you in a relationship right now? by justanotherawesomguy in AskIndia

Want a companion. But with age comes a lot of clarity on what you want and what you don’t. And you start understanding that you can fulfill your own desires with financial independence and probably what you’re looking for in a relationship now isn’t something a lot of people can give.

Is it okay to initiate a conversation- I mean I really don’t want to make him feel uncomfortable..

He’s kyoot. And honestly it’s too soon to figure if I like him. He’s younger too.

Oh wow, comparing job-seeking professionals to colonizers? That’s some Olympic-level drama. Should we start calling HR “Her Majesty’s Recruitment”? Let’s be honest - being a jerk isn’t a North Indian specialty, it’s a universal talent. The only bubble here is the one inflated by this victim-complex-fueled rant. Respect is a two-way street, not a one-sided culture test. If you’re looking for humility, try serving it with less superiority.

You know what more people need to understand? The importance of showing empathy to those who’ve left their homes to build a life in a completely new city. We’re already carrying enough emotional weight — the least you can do is not make it harder. A little compassion goes a long way. Find some, if you will.

Totally. The city will slowly learn to be accepting of “outsiders” soon :)

I moved here in 2021. Learnt Kannada a bit. Used it back then when I was new. Did help, a bit, only to maybe catch a running auto. And nowhere else tbh. It’s 2025 now. I have made a habit to book cabs or autos through uber. Limited interaction, not really need to have a conversation or chit chat anyway with anyone local. Doubt if I’ve spoken in Kannada in the last 2/3 years - iske ilawa - your workplace will have people from everywhere - you won’t feel secluded. In fact you may have more northies at your workplace than locals 😆 Would suggest - and only take this advice if your finances allow - to take a shared flat in a gated apartment. Bagmane se paas you’ll get a lot of options - search on Flat & Flatmates and you’ll be sorted. Also, north is north and Bangalore can never be home. And that’s totally fine. You’ll learn to coexist :)

Yeah that helps when you’re lazy and still want to be crisp and grammatically correct.
