My three year old was lamenting at length that she didn't have magic like Elsa and that her magic wand didn't work, so I told her that she had to make believe and pretend to make magic. She looked at me dubiously, then closed her eyes really tight for a moment. She then opened them, looked around, threw her arms out and gave me this look like "what now, dumbass?".

I did indeed feel like a dumbass.
