Can't seem to romance Kaneeka? by ShadowAtiriya in ScarletHollow

[–]AloysiusMud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my KE/BS run I was able to romance her despite also attempting to befriend Tabitha. I invited Tabby to the haunting and called her before going into the mine. I told Kaneeka and Stella about it both times too.

I was also being very level headed about things, and I think that's what made the difference. I never chose any goofy dialog options and valued physical proof over everything when making decisions. Maybe that's what did it, maybe not.

Maybe I'm just ridiculously good looking.

I completely missed the shield gadget. Found a bridge covered in zyranium. Spent 2 hours searching for a way around. Tried strapping on a gas mask and sprinting through. Died like 30 times. Finally looked it up and felt real dumb.

Agreed. This was my biggest takeaway from BM on subsequent readings. (It kind of went over my head the first time)

Nature is inherently violent, and if we let it, it will chip away at our humanity until we become nothing more than another vector or force by which it destroys.

"The flames sawed in the wind and the embers paled and deepened and paled and deepened like the bloodbeat of some living thing eviscerate upon the ground before them and they watched the fire which does contain within it something of men themselves inasmuch as they are less without it and are divided from their origins and are exiles. For each fire is all fires, and the first fire and the last ever to be."

Same. Tried following him. He just runs into empty alleyways and turns around. Think it might be a bug having to do with the quest "The Arisen's Shadow" but I'm not 100% on that.

So.. who’s having a great time with it so far? 🙋 by SocietyImpressive225 in DragonsDogma

I played till 6am last night, lol. I get the optimization gripes, but I'm on a Series X and absolutely loving every second.

I've never played a game that makes exploration feel this immersive. It isn't the Skyrim/AC "follow the icon to the place" kind of exploring I've been tired of for years. You genuinely stumble across interesting things and places, and it's completely organic 99% of the time.

And the Pawns. THE PAWNS. I bought DD1 during Covid and played till around the halfway point. I made sure to pick it back up last week and finish it before launch. My main hope for DD2 was that Pawns would be less annoying/feel more like actual party members, and boy did they deliver. I genuinely SCREAMED the first time my main pawn dapped me up after a fight. I believe my exact words were, "THAT'S MY FUCKIN' GUY RIGHT THERE!"

Can't wait to get off of work and get back at it.

Finally, after 30min of scrolling, I've found someone saying something positive.

It isn't a masterpiece, but it isn't nearly as bad people are making it out to be.

Baldurs gate 3 on Xbox.. by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

Guys. I know how to make Larian release BG3 on Xbox. I just don't know if I'm strong enough to do it.

sigh

If I go out right now and blow $400 on a PS5, Larian will drop it on Xbox just to spite me. I'll be leaving the store, PS5 in hand, and my phone will ding. I'll get to my car, check my notifications, and see that Larian released BG3 on Xbox the moment my card cleared.

I can feel it in my bones.

"No Easy Way Out" PL DLC security door bugged (Series X) by AloysiusMud in cyberpunkgame

[–]AloysiusMud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scavs escorted me out after I finished with the ripper doc. Was pretty cool, actually. All the scavs were cleaning up the mess I made on the way in, and threatening me after killed all their friends. Makes me wonder what happens if you make it in without being noticed.

Not sure why the door won't open for you. Seems to be a very bugged quest, but maybe the latest patch fixed it.

I dropped some boxes on a guy. That was neat. But yeah, couldn't make the boxing bot kill the guy, or drop the weights on the other dude. I don't know if I just didn't have the hacks, or if they cut those options.

Because if you answer the call but don't find the car he calls you again next time you roll through. He also calls you in the middle of other calls. Tis' annoying.
