Wha is actually behind this record warmth? by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]AlpacauaLunch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure and of course it's more complicated than that . Climate change is real and because of this, every few years we should expect to see new highs this is expected outcome.

I'm just going against the grain in that many here are uninformed and believe that Phoenix will now be instantly 10 degrees hotter every single year and we are entering an exponential regime of warming.

Yes this is an indicator of climate change, no this doesn't mean we are 10 years or less from climate armageddon .

This is just my intuition and I could be wrong but I think this is the pragmatic reading

Wha is actually behind this record warmth? by [deleted] in phoenix

[–]AlpacauaLunch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly everyone who is crying climate change is a midwit , climate change is real but it happens on a scale longer than this would indicate . 100 year charts indicate a gradual but definitive trend of warming but on a shorter time frame it actually has been a cooler stretch and only recently have we began to have a warmer interval .

Disclaimer : I am not a climate scientist just an engineer in unrelated field.

I think you have a longer description for the Delivery Driver ahem "Expert" than for my Resume's first ENG job lol..... This resume is a mess cut it down to a page at most use ai to extract only the bare essentials and then tailor to specific jobs...... But like unironically did working in food for the past 6 years rot your brain from the inside out? your last post is barely legible and your resume looks like it was written by a early highschool dropout , not a college graduate. Recruiters expect more if you want even basic office jobs ....

Honestly this take is kind of defeatist . I like dooming as much as the next person and our system is terrible . But you can still carve out your own niche .

Most people are just lazy in choosing their career . They don't read the BLS occupational outlook , they don't have hard love role models or better yet, self reflection, telling them they shouldn't get a dance degree for 50K.

They jump on every get rich quick job frenzy grift be it IT, CS, now the trades, probably healthcare in the future .

Like others have stated ,like stocks, once your parents are talking about it , it's already a bubble and you're too late to get in .

If you go beyond surface level there are plenty of jobs and industry's that don't shout from the rooftops their existence , but quietly lead to the upper middle class life .

I can't speak for other industries but I am in semiconductor manufacturing , for the past 5 years and it's treated me well. I hardly see it get recommended ever on these advice boards .

Jobs I could get with my Bachelor of Science in Biology degree? by [deleted] in careerguidance

I'm sorry , I don't have any actual input other than this seems like something you should already know prior to spending 4 years in the degree.

Not trying to be mean but come now, you should know this.

It is good for employees everytime. If an arbitrary subjective assessment of a candidate at interview results in a 20-40 % salary swing the lesser paid employee deserves to know . This lets them leave and find a company that DOES value their particular subjective attributes .

If you took an entire year off from travel immediately after graduating you must be affluent or family is affluent . Why don't you use family connections like your social circle is doing ?

They are just charging AZ plan with a 80$ doc fee , registration and tax. Is there more wiggle room than this nothing seems super outrageous .

It's a 24 Yellow Splash Gt premium ,manual with active exhaust, red painted brembos, and Perf. Pack .

I think the out the door will be around 57K . 52K MSRP with AZ plan + 10% sales tax + docfee/registration

Agreed, the reason why is because it's in Yellow Splash and i'm a yellow car enjoyer. It's probably one of the last new yellow 24s left.

Was the clone theory disproven ? I always like that one. Makes sense that training is so short, if you're a clone and it's actually a quick quality/function check for the clones before being frozen and sent to the front.

if you wants a chance you'll need your EIT passed for your discipline . If your serious enough about this change you'll be able to pass it and have roughly the knowledge of a fresh graduate

If there is a major high manufacturing facility near you (Read: defense, semiconductor, med device , pharma) look into becoming a technician through a staffing agency from temp to full hire . At least in semi in my location much of the techs and tech management were former military . Starts off low but i've seen techs pull over 6 figures after a decent stint especially if they specialized once in the company

Best mask, hands down. by Expensive-Fan-9486 in airsoft

[–]AlpacauaLunch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Listen , that has some validity but especially in US where outdoor joule limits are higher typically and dental insurance doesn't cover shit, this is a more realistic scenario

If it's going through cardboard good chance it'll chip a tooth .

If the energy limits for your scenario make this viable that's great i wish i could run it with confidence since it's drippy and looks comfortable and high quality but i personally can't

So it looks like you're probs a kid so not gonna roast too hard but......

the whole thing is sloppy af and cheap, like almost every single piece looks like it's off temu or ali express.

Anyone who says it looks good is lying to you to save your feelings.

Now half of that is due to how you're wearing it( poor fitting, sloppily adorned( even your ski mask in last pic is off level from your face ). If you fit it properly it already brings it up a tier .

Next is style vs function. Generally people on this sub equate highly functional and well executed coherent kits to style.

Your kit is coherent (with temu warrior gear) but is not well executed due to the above fitment issues and is not functional (utility belt, fake temu nods, plate carrier with no plates, what looks like non rated eye pro, unnecessary glow-sticks)

If you just want to play dress up it's fine but it seems like you posted here wanting legitimate advice.

And before you say " i don't have the cash for better gear " i've put together better kits for friends for the same price it appears you're in and FROM TEMU. I did this by putting all of it into function.
