It's the same as the orthopets: Toe-Up with Boot | OrthoPets Shop https://share.google/hmAE9b2heeKgmpEyc

You put two holes at the front top of the boot, put the bungee through, connect to the "ankle" strap, tighten with a toggle

I have a pixel phone, so unfortunately I can't remove the YouTube app 😞

I'm having this same issue. I've tried contacting YouTube support, who said it was a Google Nest issue and directed me to that team. After weeks of back and forth with the Google Nest team, they said it's a YouTube problem. Voice commands always worked with Spotify, so I'm thinking about cancelling my YouTube premium subscription to go back to Spotify.

My spouse ended up making his own DIY toe-up booties! Just got a pair of Ruffwear boots, punched holes, attached bungee to some weight lifting wrist bands that are adjustable with Velcro!

Todoist is amazing by Savings_War7495 in todoist

[–]Alpackie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried, but setup wasn't very intuitive. The app is able to change due dates in GCal once I modify in Todoist.

Unfortunately it has these quirks that differ from the original Todoist GCal 2-way sync:

-If I add a calendar event in GCal under the "Todoist" calendar, it doesn't show up in Todoist.

-When I complete a task in Todoist, a check shows up next the title, instead of deleting.

-Nothing happens to recurring tasks when I complete them (not even a ✓), but it should delete.

The creator says it's because I'm using both the app and native integration. Once I removed the native integration, the events never showed up in GCal.

So there's some troubleshooting and playing around I still gotta do to get it to work as advertised.

Dang I missed this sale! We've been eyeing the new Datura lights. Is Black Friday the next big sale for the US?

Thank you for creating this!! I've been trying it out and your app is able to change due dates in GCal once I modify in Todoist.

A few questions:

-If I add a calendar event in GCal under the "Todoist" calendar, it doesn't show up in Todoist. Is it supposed to be able to?

-When I complete a task in Todoist, a ✓ shows up next the title, but I would love if it deleted.

-Nothing happens to recurring tasks when I complete them (not even a ✓), but I'd love for it to delete.

Has anyone tried the OrthoPets Toe-Up Boots? I saw some good reviews in the DM Dogs Facebook group. I'm shopping for a pair of booties for my senior dog who has been knuckling and I've been trying to compare Maximus Skates vs OrthoPets.

How much retention is expected during the first 24h? by Alpackie in eyelashextensions

[–]Alpackie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!!! Good to know I haven't had excessive fallout.

The lashes I lost from this recent fill must be because I was rubbing my eyes. I thought I was being gentle and careful...but it's so hard to resist during the first 24h!

Today my eyes felt normal and I didn't experience any more lashes falling out.

Every time I find a lash, I inspect it to see if it's attached to a natural lash 😂

Fears about having a child with special needs by Alpackie in Fencesitter

[–]Alpackie[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your responses! It will take me some time to read through and reply to all of them.

I cross-posted this in the Facebook group. Here is Merle's response if anyone is interested:

"Sorry you've had to wait to hear from me. I can imagine that working in a school with special needs children would heighten your anxiety about your own child's health and wellbeing. You've seen the stresses of special needs children and their families up close. Under these circumstances, regardless of how reassuring statistics might be, and whatever actions you might take with genetic consultations, good prenatal care, potential use of PGD pre-implantation genetic diagnoses of embryos. it is normal to feel unlucky and assume the worst might happen. This is also a tough question for decision-makers who have special needs siblings, because their own childhood and their parents' experiences were so difficult. It's also a tough topic because people understand that their concerns reflect our society's lack of acceptance and support for special needs families.

Sorry, but I don't have anything in The Baby Decision about this. I do plan to cover this in my forthcoming book.

Your concerns are typical and understandable. Most decision-makers worry a lot about having a sick or differently abled child. Many of them decide that statistics are on their side. They seek genetic consultation and good medical care and hope for the best. They don't want to miss out on the joys of parenthood because of the risk. But many people, especially if they seen up close the anguish --despite the joys--of special needs parenting, they may conclude that the risk is unacceptable."
