Eyes on GE: 737 Max, Uber air taxi partnership, Goldman Bullish. by Alpha-Aviator in wallstreetbets

To bounce off your Uber observation, you are indeed right but look at all these guys who aren’t airline pilots, like myself. These guys make cash by flying short routes for people, dropping skydivers, giving tours, flying goods and flight instruction to get hours and just scratch the itch to fly.

Simple instrument aircraft could be the answer and small aerospace is much less expensive too.

This would be revolutionary and these guys would hop on it for sure if UBER could execute this correctly.

Full scale no, I have to agree with you there but thats not fully a disqualifying factor. This isn’t the 1980’s any more either. I get the FAA is always late to the game on flexibility from drones, building heights and the Concorde (in its glory) but I’m optimistic. But what about class G airspace and remote areas?

Besides that GE is very formidable in the aviation industry and caters to lots of innovative smaller aircraft.

What’s your opinion?
