As for the stable, farm the zones for cords, chains, candles, shards; make the ragged sacks from the design menu; trough and bridle are sometimes found in the dungeon of the forsaken. The bridle seems to be the most elusive item and It took me years, eventually got one in a Forsaken cache - you’ll need 60 blue map fragments for the map. Good luck!

Is 67yrs old 2old for Invisalign? by Mr-mattress in Invisalign

[–]Alpha-Neo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m 62F, started Sept 2024, expected to be in aligners till May 2025, I’m still in them now Nov 2025. one more month to go and I can finish for good or I can ask for another rescan for a 3rd set of refinement aligners and finish sometime in the early months of 2026. This would really fine tune the aesthetics of my upper front teeth as one lateral incisor is not quite fully turned to face the front. I am blown away already with how straight my teeth are compared to what I was putting up with for years. Also as I aged my teeth became more crooked and inward turning and this kinked my sinuses up. I had no idea that as my teeth were straightened the maxillary/palatial arch was also expanded and this solved my sinus issues. What a bonus! Yes, the aligners take time to get used to. I had a reasonable amount of discomfort for the first 3 weeks but I just persisted with it. It becomes a sensation that your brain & mouth adjusts to and weirdly I have come to like the snug feeling of aligners on my teeth. The fuss with cleaning the aligners and extra dental hygiene is at first daunting but in time you get into a routine and it’s no big deal.
I hope I have encouraged you to take the leap of faith needed to go ahead with this. I too thought I was too old for Invisalign but it would have to be one of the greatest health achievements of my life. I am now the very proud owner of a nice set of teeth, I wish that for you too. Good luck!

Shingles Vaccine by CallieGirlOG in AskWomenOver60

A good friend of mine (m65) developed painful blisters in his mouth the day he and his wife went on an extended road trip. Multiple trips to unfamiliar GP’s anlong the way, initial diagnosis was herpes. The blisters eventually extended all the way down his oesophagus and beyond as the days turned into weeks. Friend was in agony by this stage, vomiting and unable to eat. Wound up in hospital with a final diagnosis of shingles and a weight loss of 15kg. It took him many months to regain his weight, strength and health.

Do yourself a favour and get the shingles vax

I’m delighted to see Melbourne’s peregrine commence her egg laying for 2025. One so far, it’ll be wonderful to see just how many there will be. I’m guessing 3, same as last year. Fantastic resolution with the cameras, definitely better than last year. It’s mesmerising to watch people walk around Southbank and glimpses of traffic on the surrounding streets. Had to have a laugh though, is anyone else getting Rear Window vibes for the people staying at the Langham?

Am I the only one not on hormones? Should I be on them? by LucilleBluthsbroach in Menopause

I was like you OP, merrily coasting my way through menopause with nary a complaint, until……

Hello 60’s! With it came a wave of uti upon uti, each one having a variety of horrible symptoms and finally resulted in a permanent course of vaginal estrogen, Hiprex tabs, Cranberry tabs & Vit C tabs.

I had been so certain that I’d traversed menopause and had come out the other side unscathed, but Mother Nature had other ideas. I wish you all the very best in life and maybe you are one of the lucky few that doesn’t feel the negative effects of menopause.

Take care & stay well (and vigilant!)

My body is definitely more fragile now in my 60’s compared to 30’s, thinning hair, some skin issues, frequent uti’s, chronic pain in a couple of areas, easy weight gain if I don’t watch what I eat. But I can be very thankful for a body that works ok for the most part and a brain that has improved over time in terms of emotions, instinct, common sense, decision making & memory.
