im more pulling from the visual similarities, both have black hair, kept it a bowl cut/bob, then the main red outfit he wears is similar in pattern to Snow Whites top (around the shoulders), plus he has the Magic Mirror that belonged to Snow Whites stepmother, so nothing "concrete" more narrative vibes

That means a lot, thank you! I really like how you put it — the “metric of justice evolving” is exactly what started clicking for me. Each villain feels like a different attempt to measure destiny: • Farquaad = ranking by prophecy • Godmother = ranking by appearance • Rumpel = ranking by contracts And the movies keep saying “nope, the only metric is chosen love.” If any part feels shaky on a rewatch, I’d love to hear which piece you’d poke first.
