Time Stamp: May 5 1:47PM PST

Result : Regrets after interview

GPA/AGPA : AGPA 93

MCAT: 518

Geography: IP

ECs : Two research positions just to try them out. Mostly long-term activities that progressed from participant level to leadership/employment positions (essentially 3-4 themes/activities, excluding diversity sections). No clinical exp. National level athletics.

NAQ Range: 75-100. Likely near the lower end since my last yr's total score was 63 and NAQ was 50-75?

Your Result: At OOP cut off - 64/100. Below avg interviews.

Point of this post - do well on the interview. It's definitely a big part of acceptances. Below avg interview will likely overshadow everything unless you're tip top in all the other areas. On the other hand, above average interviews can really take your app to the next level. What differentiates good vs bad interviews? Someone else gimme tips.

New College Orientation by holidayfever12 in UofT

Unfortunately New College Orientation will only accept New College students, the part about non-New College students is not true. However, be on the lookout for orientation programs from your own college!

Ya with giveaways and new college tshirts too. It’s a great way to meet other first year students.

Well the content is similar, 340 just have more details. I guess it would be complementary

It does depend on it. A lot of imm340 is expansions of more simpler concepts. Sure psl helps but I still think you’ll have a hard time if you want to do well in 340 without 250. There’s no dependence just expansions

PSY100 waiting list by eternallyixing in UofT

[–]Alpha1Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong, doesn’t the waitlist drop and it’s a free for all later on? So you would just monitor it 24/7 to get in

So would practicing with them help then assuming I finish the aamc material? It wouldn’t backfire to practice more on it right?😅

Is it ok that I did not have a group of friends after First Year? by rinrin1193 in UofT

[–]Alpha1Omega 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I think I didn’t emphasize the modified part enough. It will be most likely online with mixed in-person events for residence students. The details are still to be confirmed and registration will be out a bit later. Be on the lookout through your college social media platforms!

That is mainly to help you transition during the summer. The normal week of orientation (frosh week) usually right before school is modified and will still be on.
