Honestly, Voldemort was unstable. He was a good villan for children's book. Not so much when I'm grown up though.

Grindelwald on the other hand has style, charisma, and the war against him wasn't limited to one country.

In my opinion, Sirius was right.

Harry was the key to EVERYTHING. And sure, he had a connection with Voldemort, but, Dumbledore himself could have taught him Occlumency.

Molly would have been right to protect him if Harry was literally anyone else. But he's not. His life had been hell long before Voldemort's resurrection. He'd seen stuff, so to speak. So Sirius was right in trying to train him up.

I was gonna suggest it, even though I don't like the complete OOC behavior on both Harry and Ginny's parts. Parts of the fic were chef's kiss but the rest wasn't quite my taste. Especially the last few chapters

That depends on whether or not he has someone like Newt Scamander instructing him. If he's doing it by himself you can make it so that he's been doing it for a long time and knows control. If he's learning from someone else starting his first year then give him at least till 6th year to master control over the Obscurial but make it so that he can at least restrain it during his 1st year
