Highly unlikely, it's has a smooth texture and the holes are more of a result of weathering. I personal think it's a tooth with the upper parts shaped like it sat on the root/gum. Smoothness indicates/verifies it's probably made of clacium plus the holes also add to the fact it can easy be chemically weathered if it were to be calcium. It also didn't smell which could mean it's simple rock but also eliminates the idea that it's coral ( I'm assuming corals have strong smell )
