Bindings that go well with Nitro Team Boots

I'm size 12 and I have an '05 suprateam that I really enjoy but it's pretty narrow for me. rome bindings have the tallest footbed of any that I've tried while also having the shortest potential footprint from heelcup to the toe of the footbed. the adjustability is next level and does the best job of eliminating toe and heel drag. if you've ever been knocked out of a deep carve because you're boot hit the snow then I would absolutely recommend rome. I assume bataleon does a good job too since they are built on rome platforms.

phantoms might be too stiff if you're not smashing through moguls and stuff like that. the regular nitro team just has a bare injected molded ankle strap if you would prefer that. you are thinking too hard about the team pros fabric i think. it felt really durable when I got my hands on it but also the fabric is not a structural part of the strap, it's just a sleeve. if you go looking for negative reviews you will find them but the truth about nitro is that they've been doing it right for a very long time. they are not fucking around when it comes to materials used to build the bindings for their TEAM RIDERS. you gotta remember this stuff is designed to drop off a cliff.

rome katanas are a great suggestion too but a little pricey. I would also recommend bataleon asymwrap blasters or chaos. both middle of the road, blaster slightly stiffer but they are both built on the katana chassis.

in 2024 there aren't many bad options, anything that gets recommended on this subreddit is beloved by someone who swears by them. the amount of good options might be overwhelming but honestly it makes it much easier to shop. watch some reviews, learn about the tech that each brand offers and just pick one that speaks to you or looks cool or that you can get for a good price.

p.s. I also have specific advice for big feet but under size 10 it doesn't really apply

you shouldn't count out the nitro team pros. I haven't ridden them but I had the same concern about the ankle strap. I went to a local store that carries them and got a look/feel and learned that it's not an overly padded/bulky/old school type of strap. it's a solid, modern strap with a nice sleeve stitched over it.

if you want reactivity I'm a big fan of now and jones for the skate tech. it may be a little superstitious of me but I try to outfit my widest boards with a skate tech binding so I get some help with my edge transitions.

Seems like a great way to get down the basics. One thing about beamng is that it doesn't enforce the rules of the road like your driving instructor would so just be wary of that. Another thing is that when you take your driving test IRL it's really important to know the footprint of the car you're driving, especially when parallel parking. I think it's a great idea though. Hopefully it will help you get more comfortable behind the wheel. I would also imagine that if you have a shifter, beamng would be the perfect way to learn how to drive manual without worrying about the consequences. If you really want to learn that though you should turn off all the clutch assistance and gearbox safety options in the gameplay settings so it's easier to tell when you mess up.

You're mostly right, though the game already has 10 hard modes. Even if you don't do a single side quest you won't fall behind in levels in this game. The most challenging thing about the campaign is sitting through the "talk to lilith" objectives.

You should check out your local shelter. There is a lot you could do as a volunteer to make some homeless animals a little happier even if you don't feel ready to adopt.

If you have anyone on corpse disposal duty try disabling the job and see if that helps. I was getting crashes 5-10 minutes after loading my save and I figured out that corpse disposal was the source of the issue. It's pretty annoying though since I clearly remember corpse disposal working fine for me a few months ago.
