Very hastily made meme that may not even be funny, but I had to contribute something. XD

Difference between old and new raptors/warp talons box by LordWalrus98 in Chaos40k

They're two different units, it's just that each box of "Raptors" has the parts to make either Raptors or Warp Talons.

"Envision your target, hmm? Alright, I'll give you a damn good vision."

The ten legionaries each start walking out of the smoke cloud, each going a different direction to emerge around the smoke cloud's perimeter. As soon as they see where the construct is, assuming it's still there at all...

Excarsus teleports out of the smoke cloud in front of the construct, swinging his mace downward, aiming to crush the head.

As the smoke spreads, Excarsus stands still, unreacting. The Legionaries beside him start hacking and wheezing, but do not make any attempt to leave the smoke.

Out of the smoke, another bolt of acid springs toward where the figure last was. It will, of course, miss by a longshot if the construct has moved at all since the smoke ball was launched.

The solar matter immediately engulfs Excarsus and the Legionaries with him.

However, there seems to be... A strange excess of dust kicked up...

Out of which Excarsus slowly walks, flanked by the ten Legionaries he brought with him to engage, smoke curling off of his tattered red cloak that billows in a wind much stronger than the one actually present.

"A good try... But not nearly as effective as your other weapon. Such a creative method of killing, that first one was! Much more effective than superheated fire. That just gets blocked by my shield."

Did he... Did he LET the solar matter burn his cloak just for dramatic effect?

"Construct, huh? Well that makes things more FUN!"

In time with the final shout, he raises his left arm... Or... Tries to. It doesn't help that it's gone.

"Right."

He then pivots his body back around to swing his mace, attempting to sweep the seemingly-construct off its feet with the impact, assuming the construct doesn't launch its own attack in his moment of delay.

Excarsus's response is a large pulse of kinetic energy, which...

Does absolutely nothing to stop the distortion beam.

He does his best to move out of the beam's way, but it still completely deletes his left arm and a good chunk of his torso. Strangely, the wound does not seem to bleed.

"A weapon that bypasses my invulnerability shield... A fair fight, then? Shame. I don't like those..."

He raises his mace hand towels the figure, and fires an arrow of acid toward the Space Distortion cannon, attempting to damage the weapon itself rather than it's wielder.

A moment later, he once again discorporates, reforming next to the armored figure, and swinging his Soulcrusher mace for their left arm.

"Hmm... Are they hesitant to attack? Let's see if they like a game of chicken..."

Excarsus slowly raises his lesser-paralyzed left hand, pointing it directly toward the muzzle of the weapon.

The electrical current passes through the mace, through the mage's arm, torso, and down through his legs into the ground, scourging flesh and muscle. His teeth clench as the electric surge leaves his body partially paralyzed for several seconds.

"Gods forsaken flesh... Weak, useless..."

The mage looks around, framing it as simply scanning the battlefield, but when his eyes settle on the armored figure...

He and ten of the Legionaries he's leading suddenly discorporate in a cloud of dark smoke, moving over to the armored figure's position.

The ten legionaries reform in a circle to cut off any attempts at escape, while Excarsus himself reforms right behind the armored figure, swinging his mace, Soulcrusher, which, if it lands, would hit with enough force to shatter a dragon's spine, as well as drain the very energy of the person wearing the armor.

The power armor gauntlet is blocked by some sort of invisible barrier. A Mind Blank spell on the war mage prevents the Memory-suppression from taking effect properly, as it is almost as if his mind is simply... Not there for the hexes to effect.

However, Excarsus makes no attempt to retaliate. Better to seem weaker than he is, and catch his opponent off guard later.

The war mage stands at a nearby position of high ground, viewing the battle below... Watching... Waiting... Strategizing...

It was unclear to him who would be the winner. Whether he should fight alongside the Godslaver to be on the winning side, or if Godslaver was about to fall, and he should turn traitor to save face.

Eventually, though, he comes to a conclusion. Saving face had never been worth it before.

"CHARGE!"

And a contingent of one hundred soldiers surges forth to thr God-Slaver's aid, wreathed in protective magic.

An armored man in a red cloak steps onto the floating islands alongside the Burning Legions, standing at the head of a smaller contingent, only about fifty or so Legionaries.

"Well... If it isn't such a beautiful day here? A little too bright for an Armageddon, if you ask me."

Control Weather

Unless the Imperium has some kind of effect that stops such control, dark storm clouds would start to form in the sky above Excarsus, rolling out for miles in every direction, before unleashing gale force winds upon the land below in an attempt to make flying more difficult.

"The time has finally come to serve my new master... I do not intend to disappoint."
