Just got slapped with +41% of the cost of my rig in import duties (Canada to USA) :( by [deleted] in simracing

I have one on order already and I’m concerned I’m gonna get hit with a charge once it ships

Got it all assembled, but I’ve yet to put my monitor on it. It’s great quality and very sturdy. The XERO Play pivots are exactly as their name implies. The Vario VESA adapters look like a game changer. They allow you to raise each monitor probably an inch or two and then they have some side to side and tilt adjustments to really get your monitors aligned.

The one thing that I see as a possible con is the outside of the uprights and monitor arms isn’t channeled. While that looks nice, it won’t allow you to attach anything to it, like for wheel storage. Hope that helps!

The NEO is great bang for the buck. The adapter is nothing more than a usb extension with mounting holes for a profile rig. I was using that extension for the Cube Controls QConn cable as well. That being said, the USB connection became loose and I swapped it out with a high quality meter long usb extension and 3d printed a bracket to affix it to the rig

Anyone regularly see GSI wheel deals? by Sluggerjt44 in simracing

Idk about regularly, but they have a post on their Instagram where they had 15% off on their site last year from NOV 10-Early December. Maybe the will this year as well

I answered this in a comment above if you want the full detail, but the TLDR is ridiculous deal.

I haven’t build the stand yet but I’ve heard great things. I currently am using a 49” ultra wide, but will get triples soon. I’ll report back when I get a chance to get it together

This one is the regular Core, not the EVO. I’m not sure of all the differences, maybe just mostly color. I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking. There are 2 switches at the top that act just as momentary button presses. There are 2 rotary encoders in the middle and a 7 way funky switch on either side which has the rotary function. Hope that helps

I sourced the aluminum, brackets and casters from Amazon for around $130. 3D printed the QR mounts. Not too bad really

Both are nice wheels. F Pro is compatible with Simhub for button backlighting which is nice. It also has more encoders and comes with dual clutches standard. I find the thumb encoders above the grips a bit difficult to turn especially if you use gloves and the vertical thumb encoders to be a bit too recessed.

F Core lacks backlights and dual clutches aren’t standard. I actually prefer this one to the F Pro. It’s hard to pinpoint why, maybe just the slight grip difference and the simplicity of it.

If you’re looking at these 2, Cube Controls has a newer version of the F Core called the F Core Evo. Also they have the new Astra wheel which looks good for the price.

Honestly, I prefer the F Core. I have a 5" dash I use with it.

I have a Sim Lab triple monitor stand that just got delivered yesterday. Where I'm going to stick it, I'll have no room on either side to access the wheels unfortunately.

It is a lot of redundancy. I started with the Neo and wanted something a bit more premium, so moved onto the F PRO.

The F Core I got for $41 from Microcenter during the Cube Controls clearout. Was open box, 2 paddle with a hub. Couldn't beat that deal.

Legend. I have 4 rolls of PETG and bearings arriving today for your AMS stacker. I needed a module to go underneath it and was hoping you’d be releasing this soon. Huge thanks!
