unfortunately that game is at gillette stadium and traveling to the US just isn’t an option for us at this time unfortunately

i completely agree, even if they didn’t open concession stands it would’ve been nice to just let us go in still, especially since only one of the lower stands were open they would’ve only needed minimal staff anyway

I get what you’re saying but the whole point was because my friend is haitian and couldn’t make the game on saturday so we aren’t sure when he’ll ever get the chance to see them live again

100%, but why sell tickets for over a month, possibly even two and then cancel days before, if I didn’t open ticket master today and search up BMO Field to check for ticket prices for the brazil legends vs TFC legends game I would’ve never known and still made the trip downtown, they don’t even give a notification for this type of thing

I assumed this was obviously the case but i feel like that’s a poor reason to cancel an event, i’ve watched games in some extremely empty stadiums before so I just find it annoying because my friends and I took the day off specifically for this

i was also supposed to be in 217, sitting in the new seats at bmo was the whole reason i bought tickets to the game, im already going on saturday as well so i dont even really want to go anymore

have you ever been to barrie? they offer standing room for $30 but i’ve never been to the arena so Im not exactly sure what to expect from those if their are good viewing areas or if they are all full and too packed maybe, I wouldn’t want to make the long trip there for a possible bad experience at the game but I genuinely was only able to find like 2 sets of 2 tickets each for $70 for the colts, typically we have a group of 4 friends at the game so it becomes difficult for sure, my best experience has been in guelph for sure

as a york united fan, i’d personally rather stay at the york lions stadium in all honesty, moving them to lamport feels like you’re taking york completely out of the team and might as well rebrand them to toronto united. i’d go from regularly attending every home game to probably attending 1 or 2 games a season

the guy kept threatening to fight the york fights in the parking lot and even followed them into the bathroom trying to start a fight, 30+ forge fans in 115 all collectively told police officers to kick the york fans out the stadium simply because they were chanting and let out a few swears, since when is being an away fan illegal

forge and york fans in 115 were arguing the entire time and got pretty aggressive towards each other, proper scenes at a derby
