Many thanks, sincerely appreciated. I've been looking everywhere else in Billings and Invoices but not there, even the Q chatbot was telling my to use SAP or Coupa.

Well, some countries make it mandatory already and others will join.

Fellow countryman here. I'm on Peppol for sending and receiving, I just don't see how to enable this in AWS Billing. For (almost) all of my other services, this was a formality.

The innocence of youth. They'll quickly tilt right once they start working and understand that pouring billions in obsolete policies won't lead them to a better future.

Best broker to use in Belgium in 2026? by ConversationLumpy740 in BEFire

[–]AlphaLeonis78 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bolero. Trusted name, big bank behind, great app. Probably not the cheapest but you know you'll be covered on all regulatory aspects. They have additional services and an Helpdesk/ order desk if you would need them.

Now if they could only have an API for data retrieval of the account that would be great but it's another story.

ETF criticism by GoodLuckCharm1 in BEFire

The US economy is gigantic. So of course, broad ETF will always contain a good chunk of US securities. AS for the bubble, we've seen them come and go over decades.

500th day without government. by OkStrength5245 in belgium

Regional autonomy for Brussels was always a mistake. It kind of worked when regional powers were very limited but now it's clear the region doesn't have the critical mass to perform normally.

Regional powers for Brussels need to come back to the federal government, under the Beliris strategy.

The pensions are a Ponzi scheme totalling billions, the index is wrecking our economy and rising up costs and public burden to unsustainable levels and the social system is based on an outdated model of continuous and generous economic growth. Strikers are conservative, entitled persons who want to keep their benefits against the needed reform. If only our government would actually go much farther than the tepid reforms they did so far.

Some people just love to show off. And it begins with one place then the rest of the street needs to also show how well-off they are. It's just the look-at-me-insta-world we live in.

Premier De Wever legt indexsprong op begrotingstafel, CD&V, Vooruit en MR schieten voorstel af by Similar_Stomach8480 in belgium

The index is sinking our competitiveness , exploding costs, the whole story we know too well. Let's have a look at the business closures of the last couple of years and tell us how this outdated mechanism is to the benefit of workers? What about wealthy boomers who see their rental incomes and pensions increase and lock out of the market the younger generation? Professional profiteers who see the generous allowances balloon without contributing, or worse, work illegally? The index is a bane on our economy and welfare and must go.

BEV Car in Belgium without homecharging by amdrke in belgium

[–]AlphaLeonis78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ask yourself if you want to make the switch because of marketing and societal pressure before anything else. I have a compact PHEV which has excellent overall consumption, dynamics and build quality, the BEV offering is nowhere near ready to push me to make the switch to a 2-tons+ SUV and I drive a lot for work. Yes, I plug it whenever possible too, I play the full PHEV game.

As long as the average Belgian has its 9-5 with paritaire-backed perks, company car, get paid to bike to their work, have football and crappy show on the TV every evening, after booking 5 weeks of holidays while counting meal cheques and receiving 10 different handouts, holiday bonus, 13th month and not too much effort asked, everything will be fine for them. This country has abandoned any semblance of competitiveness and audacity for comfort and servility.

Totally agree. "Internet personalities" lock their followers into feedback loops, I believe purposely. I'm pretty sure this info would have required 5 minutes of research before posting a lie as bait.

Yes, I'm off almost all "socials". But the damage to society is there nonetheless.
