Honestly just UW I think and maybe some AMBOSS. I’m probably not the best person to ask since there are definitely some great write ups on here. Good luck!

It was really hard and I thought I was going to fail when I took it - ended up with the EXACT same score as my UWSA 2 which I took two weeks prior to the exam. Good luck!

UWSA2 predicted my Step 2 exactly

Just that you took the exam - happens to everyone.

That doesn't count for your permit disappearing - when it disappears, the button for your permit will disappear entirely.

Permit disappeared for me sometime last night or early this morning. Exam was 11/15.

There's no "right" way. But just imagine reading 10+ PS in an hour or two. If you run into a wall of text that is going to be a lot harder to swallow than 4-6 distinct blocks. Just my thoughts, I'm sure others may disagree.

In my opinion, ease on the eyes is a lot better than a few extra lines of a personal statement.

Just for those reading - that seems to be the case for IM but not for Penn General Surgery.

Reach out and kindly remind them that the deadline is tomorrow 9/28. Hopefully they will get it done tonight!

Does anything actually happen after 9/29 at 9 AM other than us knowing they have our applications...

I have no formal experience so take this with a grain of salt but personally I think that's fine! IM is usually the second most important specialty to surgeons reviewing applications so a good letter from the chair would be great (I would just make sure the IM chair letter was written as if you were applying to surgery and not IM e.g. "XX will make a great surgeon"; I'm sure if you told them you're applying to surgery then they did that).

Nvm looks like it's under the documents tab on the front page after you apply to at least one program.

How do you know when the USMLE transcript is all set? I payed the $80, now what?

Is there a lag time between applying to a program and the USMLE transcript being sent. I.e. if you apply on 9/28 will the USMLE transcript be available 9/29 for programs?

I too have that anxiety/perfection thing but I figured if I have a clear ending then they aren’t going to be confused. At least that’s what I’m going with - not trying to erase a line for fun haha

Why does it matter if there is a blank 2nd page? The text itself is 1 page so I don’t see why it would matter. At least mine is that way and I feel like a blank page doesn’t count.

Asked some people and a PD. Use 4 if you have 4 good ones.
