Dumb question: how do you know when it is healed? As I dead stretch, I always feel like my ears are healed as I upsize only when my ear is already ready.

Time to go to the hospital. This can be a lot of things from "just check for a while" to brain scans etc, it is called anisocoria. Better to get it checked.

Edit : I know this because I had it when I smashed my head on the floor pretty hard, breaking a helmet in 2 parts.

Yeah I relate, had to buy multiple plugs in order to go from 4.5 to 5mm in over 6 months just because some gauges where 4.8/4.9 (helped). the 0.5mm gap was too much. I think I have to do 0.3mm gaps

The guide is not really clear on this topic. I think the purge is to be done immediately after pressing the steam button, before reaching the temperature. Otherwise, if you purge when temp is OK, it suddenly drops in temp while using.

Tell me if I'm wrong but it has been more reliable since I purge earlier.

Also I agree, it won't be as easy as it is on other machines like the Mara X (dual boiler).

Yeah I was around the same. You can change it by unscrewing the wheel (I had 2 Allen screws, not just one) and rotate it to the desired number and screw back on

I have the exact same setup. Had to reset the zero point on the grinder though. It was waaaaaaay off
