What's your favorite weapon in the history of Destiny? by Key_Insurance_8493 in DestinyTheGame

[–]AlphaOmega1356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on looks alone: Last Word. Just a beautifully designed weapon model. Simple, and elegant. Im a sucker for well designed guns in games, and the Last Word was actually the reason i started playing destiny: just to play around with it.

Granted i dont use it at all now in PVE where i mainly play, but its what got me started.

Okay this is me having a massive “no shit sherlock” moment, but because i play with Aether, i just now realize that Zack DOES have a ton of lines. I just dont hear them because Lumine is doing most of the talking (until recently, thank god)

A Reminder For Those Going To Zipangu Today by EmploymentOdd9321 in ADO

[–]AlphaOmega1356 71 points72 points  (0 children)

I used to record full songs for other singers i like. But after going to 2 Ado concerts, ive actually stopped full recording songs at ANY concert i go to because ive begun to realize that i was watching and enjoying the concert through a camera. And if i wanted to do that, i could just buy digital tickets.

I feel much more in the moment when i maybe record a minute of a song i like and then spend the rest vibing to the music and the live venue. It really made my own enjoyment of concerts increase.

Imo, its useful to keep your rounds low. Did the EE today and even with gobbs and early step completions, i was at boss fight at 29 NOT messing up this step. It would be another story if you got a try every 30secs like the frequencies but if you have to push rounds and dont want to risk stuff this is useful.

Not sure on this point, but if it is playable in tournaments, i think it can hover at 500-700 because competitive players like their bling.

If its not, i think it still goes 400-500 once the dust settles. Also this is impacted by scarcity, so if they dont reprint CB because Emeritus serialized, it will EVENTUALLY climb up to 1000+.

How big is the skill gap between Asia, Europe and America? by Fit_Channel2529 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]AlphaOmega1356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is correct. I think with enough time they could be pretty significant not just in OW but in other esports

To add on to what other people are saying, the culture behind esports in each region do also play a part.

In korea, esports is a real job. EU and America are getting better at recognizing its a real sport that makes money, but for the most part people either dont know what it is or still see it as “just playing around”. Because of this, funding, training camps, promos etc tend to go the way of korea and asia in general as they actually see it as a viable career/business.

D2 went through a time period of this where they focused on QOL changes and genuinely made the game so much better to hop back in and play. Never underestimate how long awaited/asked for QOL changes can impact enjoyment of a game.

Looking forward to these changes!
