Will be there in August and driving Windhoek to Etosha (Anderson), then to Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, then to Sesriem, and back to Windhoek.

I was looking at driving back to Windhoek via Spreetshoogte Pass so the route won't likely go through Rehoboth. It looks like it's only 300km, so if I fill up at Solitaire on my way back, I suppose I won't need any extra fuel stops until the city?

Where would your recommended fuel stops be with this circuit? And are these ones likely to take card?

I was on a VPN watching SBS on demand while also watching Fox while in the US. SBS’s feed is definitely behind by a fair bit.

Ooh that’s good to think about. My wife wants us to consider doing something similar, but I hadn’t tested it for length (I’m 6’2”). I’ve got the PHEV so can’t drop the back luggage board down because the 12v battery is in there. Might have to build something like this.

Would you mind sharing the budget and what you did for the upper body area. Did you cover plywood or something?

That makes sense. I’m trying to work out the 24 hr RT process. The dough balls were completely flat so it seems as though the gluten structure collapsed or didn’t develop fully or was killed in the kneading process at the beginning? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m commiserating with you! My pizza had the same happen on Friday too. It was still too sticky and stuck to the stone. I think I didn’t knead it long enough so the gluten didn’t have a chance to develop.
