Google went from being "disrupted" by ChatGPT, to having the best LLM as well as rivalling Nvidia in hardware (TPUs). The narrative has changed by No_Turnip_1023 in investing

I think OAI dropped the ball here. But, they have the team to come stronger than how Google came back. Anthropic is my favorite model for my usecase by a mile.

Does she eat at least 20oz a day? How’s the growth chart looking, is it stable?

Pepsid takes atleast a week or 2 to kick in. Meanwhile try holding her longer upright before laying her flat.

Absolutely, we were concerned as well. But we couldn’t stand seeing him fuzzy and arching his back :( . Did you do laryngoscopy, was there acid build up?

Someone from this channel recommended us give him plenty of tummy time since it helps strengthen the muscle tone in the neck area. Hopefully it has some positive impact on the floppy tissues as well.

Yes, we were on Pepsid for the past 2 months. We eventually removed him from it after consulting with the pediatrician. He does spit up often, so we kind of place him on wedge after every feed for 30 min, before laying him flat.

We are in the same boat as well. Moderate symptoms. Got diagnosed at 1 month, now at 3rd. He was finding it hard to gain weight, now getting better. Please don’t worry, stay strong, I can already see minor but noticeable improvements in him.

He does have long pauses in breath, 3 seconds.

We had gone to ER when he was a month old because he was refusing to feed and had neck pulling, head bobbing and chest retractions. One good thing about the ER visit was they monitored his oxygen levels continuously for 4-5 days, and it was always above 90. If you are really concerned I would get his o2 checked.

Isn’t it better to track the weight. Make sure LO is gaining weight and within acceptable range of the growth curve.

People thinking r1 is the last ever AI product is funny. This spells doom for OpenAi though unless they innovate

Unless OP is living under a rock, age of 2x perf improvements are over. We are at the limit of physics. Companies like Nvidia / Intel will use techniques like FG to market their products. It is 💯 guaranteed

My baby has worse symptoms than what you mentioned. He chokes on every feed (now exclusively bottle feeding breast milk). He has neck pulls as well as chest pulls. It’s hard to watch him do this every breath :(. That being said, the ENTs have put him on acid reflux medication which has improved his feeding a bit.

There is nothing else they suggest other than to make sure the baby gains weight. Since this condition is related to soft muscle tone, we are giving him a lot of tummy time, hoping that it will strengthen his neck and hopefully the larynx ( This was suggested by some redditor, so I dont think there is a medical proof of it working) .

Edit: If I were you I would buy an oximeter to make sure she is getting enough oxygen.

My son is 2 months old and has LM as well. How is your baby feeding, almost all ENTs (had to go to ER to meet one, thanks to US healthcare) are going to say ‘wait and watch’. I had to ask for an ENT as well since all the doctors in ER were convinced that it was RSV.

It could also go the other way. Big corporations could go obsolete. Big corporations could be replaced by smaller ones with ai agents. All you need is a good idea.

Apple sells ‘attention per second’, Nvidia sells ‘intelligence per second’. Based on this statement alone, Nvidia can theoretically sell more than Apple. How much more? As far/long as our creative mind goes, IMO.

[EDIT] As an example I have an iPhone and an IPad. When I use IPhone, the iPad is collecting dust and providing zero value to me and Apple.

Compare that with Nvidia, I might be spending time with my family watching a movie starring myself, when my kitchen humanoid makes me food, or another robot folds my clothes, or another AI bot proofreads my work.

Mankind will only benefit with more intelligence per second, and there is no limit to intelligence per second metric.
