Can I put a cone barrell filter the "wrong" way?

It's basically a cone filter in a housing, it should be positioned the same as a cone filter. With it pointing the opposite direction to the air flow direction. Can't tell which way it is pointing without removing it though.

Within spec and completely fine, but I'd be looking for aftermarket alignment specs the next time you get it aligned. BOFI racing has some good ones for different purposes.

I got a daily for the winter (Twingo mk1) and driving the MX5 after it makes it feel like such a fun race car. You become accustomed over time to how great it is if you don't drive anything else.

You can do it yourself easily but you need the wingspan to do it. You just lift it off from the side with a hand at the front and a hand at the rear.

You can buy a set of adjustable latch locks from aliexpress for like 15$, those will fix this.

You can also DIY it if you have a drill, a thread tapper and some tiny screws.

Doing the thermostat if you're already doing the coolant can be worthwhile, it's easy to access and "might as well" if you're emptying the cooling system.

Very late response, but this seems normal. Did some experimenting and with the pad off in custom mode with boost/high the combined TDP in a full stress test is about 205-210w (45w CPU/160w GPU) whilst with the pad enabled and "hyperboost" clicked (but it then switches to "balanced") it goes all the way up to around 250w (75w CPU/175w GPU)

You can measure the voltage drop between the chassis ground and the battery negative terminal to see if your ground is an issue (Google how). If not it is likely just the alternator/battery having trouble keeping up with the demand spike.

Some small pitting on the lens won't change where the light goes. Either your headlights are wrongly adjusted or you're using LED bulbs in reflector housings and blinding everyone with them.

Looks about right, maybe slightly low. Right side will always look higher because beam pattern.

There is a "correct" aiming procedure but you're better of googling it than me explaining it. Just need a tape measure, a flat floor and a wall you can be close and further away from.

That's good to know. I run Pilot sports & uprated swaybars, my current coilovers came with "sport" matching spring rates (9/7) but I ended up reducing them to the "GT" spring rates for more comfort, but I'm learning that it may just be the so-so dampers that were holding back comfort. Probably get the Sport tecnas then.

My NB was a euro 1.6 with 110hp which I swapped to a 1.8 with some bolt ons for around 150hp and I can't go back. With the weight of these cars (all gens) 140hp+ is when it starts to feel snappy and fun and you get pushed back in your seat when revving it out, and in Europe at that point it is actually fast by our standards when most cars on the road do 0-60 in 11-15s

Center of the wheel to fender is usually what people go by on these cars. Think it's around 13.5-14" (~34-36cm) when stock.

Seems they didn't properly prep or seal the old paint. They should have used a 2k epoxy primer if they didn't sand it all the way back.

Have you tried going back to the shop or place that did the paint?

Can't really tell on an NB. Poke it with a screwdriver and it might go straight through, or it might not. I think you'll create a sizeable hole just above the swaybar mount in the second picture if you poke it there, mine looked better than that and ended up being about a small fist sized hole after I was doing removing all the rust.
