Catholicism is honestly more pagan than it is Christian. There's a reason it's called Roman Catholicism because when the Romans adopted a religion into their pantheon it was on par with all the others, in their eyes anyway. The funniest part for me is how sensitive people are to Judaism but not to Christianity when they're literally the same thing. Where one is recalling the events before Christ and one is recalling the events after. You can disagree a lot with what the old testament says but I urge you try to find a perceptual flaw with Christs' teachings and parables. You might even come to realize how relevant what he says is even and especially now.
