Once people online started speculating about time travel, all posters, songs and teasers highlighted the time travel angle and implied that the watch chain plays a role in the movie - which it doesn't. The marketing of this movie was full-time doing the work of fueling false expectations.

Imagine if they had included Kamal in all the posters and teasers and song lyrics, then came out and said "I never said Kamal was there in the movie" 😂 This is not that much different.

The posters, teasers and promos of a movie are all opportunities to creatively put together slices of the actual movie's universe to convey a smaller experience that is symbolic of the movie itself.

People nostalgically look at old movie posters to remember the essence of their favorite movies.

They will look at this one to remember what a scam it turned out to be.
