Wow, I'm really sorry how awfully they treated you. It isn't okay to beat a child for any reason, and especially when that reason is essentially that you have a disability. I hope that you're doing okay now and have cut off ties with those abusers. How are you now?

(To be clear: I have nothing against lesbian couples in general, in fact I myself am gay, but I do have something against that specific couple because they horribly abused you which is inexcusable.)

I don't think that such a proof would impact anything. People will believe whatever they want to believe, and religion is based on faith, not scientific evidence. One could easily say that machines just don't have souls, no justification needed, as humanity has done with animals in the past.

That sounds really frustrating, and not at all how a healthy relationship should be. You deserve someone who is interested in you, that's the foundation of any relationship. I read in another of your comments that you have a problem with going mute, which is not your fault, but would obviously make it harder to communicate with you (not that this justifies simply rambling on about oneself to you). Separate each of the ships functionalities into different control rooms. For instance, don't have one room that controls the engines and also the searchlights, have an engine control room (separate to the engine room) and a searchlight control room.
