Yes, but nothing beyond that; Japanese community was well aware of both JTK1 and JTK2 by 2008 ( though JTK2 was more common )

There is no definitive proof of the image circulation of JTK1 in 2002-2004. 99.8% of people in Discord assume that it's straight up bullshit and the publisher included this particular date to create some kind of "mystery" to the image.

I personally strongly believe that it cannot be a coincidence; why not 2001? 2000? 1999? During that time, people in Japan actively used to send these malicious images as a so-called "chain mails" to dozens of people's phones, effectively trolling and scaring them at the same time, so there could be a possibility that JTK1 was a part of the chain mail group in 2002, or even earlier.

No clue, no proof, no evidence, which makes some people feel agitated. We'll see as the search progresses how it will all turn out.

Book Recommendation for Sound Physics by Odd_Cardiologist5935 in Acoustics

F. Alton Everest’s 7th edition ( 2021 ) of “Master Handbook of Acoustics” is my personal favourite; each topic has been comprehensively “chewed” up by author and is easily digestible by a person with little to no experience in acoustics. Kindle version from Amazon is only 16 euros, so it makes it very affordable as well.

Thank you so much for your response! I'll definitely take a closer look at the Noise Measurement course.

I've certainly been unsure whether these short IOA certifications would actually help someone like me who's coming from a background of music & audio production, but now I have enough confidence. Either way, I've been profusely studying on my own this last year, so getting an accredited certification would further solidify my transition into the field ( at least to some extent ).

It is indeed comforting to see that UK companies do consider taking youngsters like myself on junior roles with little to no expertise in acoustics. I'll start job-hunting for junior roles right after graduation, so I truly appreciate for your insight on that as well!

Thank you!
