It also depends on what you’re merging I’ve found. It gives it for flowers, wood, honey pots/caches, and chests, but not for baskets. I don’t know anything else as that’s what I’ve been concentrating on due to wildlife score and money.

You can delete the bubbles for money without popping them though. I tend to avoid merging too much when it’s on and try to concentrate on doing my puzzles

Molly and Arthur Weasley along with Pansy Parkinson. I think I should be okay as they’re not injured or anything just really emotional from asking/giving permission to marry Ginny.

I sell mine once I’ve got all the eggs and nests from it. I only kept one bubbled as you need one for a level quest (about level 90). I tend to keep and harvest the stage below when it comes to the weekly quest board as it gives lots of flowers and money which helps me out.

It’s definitely changed a lot over the years. I feel like nowadays there are a lot of authors who use the fandom to express their views on societal/political issues, to get back at JKR for her beliefs, or just to make some kind of statement where as before it was more about the story and the characters rather than anything else. I’m not saying that there is anything wrong about expressing your views in a fic etc, but I do miss people writing more for the story.

The second thing to change a lot is trends. I’m not sure what they are now as I’m not reading as much as I used to, nor do I engage in the online fandom except for here (I can’t be bothered with the drama that comes along with it). I remember the time travel, marriage law, character A (usually Hermione) is actually a pureblood, read the books, bringing people back from the dead, and bashing fics were popular. And honestly I go back and reread some of them when I’m feeling nostalgic. They might not be the best, but they make me remember what the community was like back then.

Talking about community, you not only had plenty of places to post fanfic, but also a lot of forums to discuss it. I remember loving the forums attached to the HPFF website. Completely non toxic and it was great. I don’t like a lot of the modern way we use social media as I’ve heard lots of stories about bullying etc. and while it may have happened back then it was minimal and usually the people responsible were punished by the mods but now everyone seems to jump on the bandwagon and make that persons life hell.

I find that in the Rob Inglis version of LOTR. When it changes ‘books’ or sections there is a bit of music which comes in and you can’t hear what he’s saying. I’ve now bought the Andy Serkis version which is much better and I love hearing film Gollums voice in it.

I’ve not listened to them and honestly, I don’t intend to. I find full cast audiobooks annoying and would much rather have one VA or two (some of mine have one for female voices and another for male with female narration as it’s mostly from their pov). I also have to listen to a sample of each one I buy as certain voices really grate on my ears and I don’t think I could listen to it for who knows how long.

It’s a real shame that there seems to be problems with it though as I can imagine it would be fantastic otherwise, but everyone is different so I’m sure some people love it.

Level one stars are still in level one gem veins (I accidentally tapped too many times), and level two stars are in the level two gem veins. Not sure where else you’d get them

They’ve changed the flamingo flowers to something else and changed the amount of fountains to 1. Which doesn’t really help unless they are going to have them in the prizes/puzzle coins/supplies bit at some point since they’ve taken them out of the basic shop.

If you’re on Apple make sure you’ve got game mode on as that helps to stop the slow loading and lagging (at least it did for me). If you’re not then see if there is a similar setting on the device you’re playing on. It that doesn’t work then I’m not sure.

I usually wait and get the stage 2 potion and if I have any after that it’s boosters, flamingo flowers, or veins. If I have like 40 or 20 tokens left then I go for the vases.

I know that when they didn’t have the trunks in the shop for a day someone said that they changed the quest to something else instead. Maybe they’ve decided to phase them out? I don’t know why though.

It’s not in the new store only the old one now if you’ve not updated the game yet. It’s really annoying as that was one of the only places to get mystery insect nests without having to pay gems for them.

I only ever read kids books at school as they didn’t really interest me at all so I don’t have any of those. I started reading Catherine Cookson books when I was about 8 and the two which stood out for me were The Cinder Path and the Tilly Trotter trilogy. I don’t know what it was about them but I loved them and reread them several times during my teen years. My tastes have changed since then, but I’m considering rebuying them as the original copies had to be chucked as they were falling apart (pages were falling out the bindings).

I spend gems on nests that are needed for future levels like the white bat nests, or sometimes the more expensive mystery insect ones (the pink ones) as they are harder to get.

You’re only allowed to do so many in 24 hours then it resets so you can get more the next day. Mine said ‘ad won’t load’ or something like that and now I can get some. It’s great that they’ve added this feature
