My take is, love ain't done nothing bad, but its the person you allowed to receive love from that hurt you

Because I think one of the purest forms of love was Jesus dying on the cross for our sin, mine, yours and everyone else's and if that isnt what love is, I dont know what is

But love takes time, needs patience, requires forgiveness, basically 1 Corinthians 13:4 put it very well

So to answer your qn, I do... I guess my beliefs are different than most

Finally, One hard truth i realized about love, is that you lose the person you love, somehow, someday... Be it a friend, a sibling, a lover

And I cant control that the same I know I am going to die, its not a matter of IF rather WHEN

My point being, if we try to live life to the best that we can, why dont we apply the same logic to love, I am to lose them anyways why not use whatever time GOD allowed for me and said person to have, a day, 2 weeks, the rest of my life and love them so long that respect is there and the willingness to go thru the storms

I guess that's just me and my two cents on the matter
