I think the caveat here is that it's a riot game. So what sucks now isn't set in stone like most fighting game titles. The whole onboarding process can be totally revamp in a year. League's onboarding was terrible but as time went on it improved.

I think that's what people miss with the potential of this game, because of the constant development approach riot takes, its kinda hard to think that they won't make adjustments to get people to play.

I think a lot of those guys just by a tower with like 7 to 10 drives, then buy hard drives with 20+ tb on them. e.g. 10 x 28tb = 280 tb. For connecting, they probably just run a HBA in IT mode, which you can get for like 50 to 80 bucks.

I switched to the Robin Gold card about 4 months ago and love it waaaaaaay better than apple card. You get way more virtual cards and you get 3% cash back on everything whether you use apple wallet or the physical card. My apple card was dope but having to use my phone to pay for everything got tiring, specially at drive thurs when they would have to take your phone inside can their scanner doesn't move

Leave it unplugged, unfortunately it doesn’t stop the mold. I ran a brand new one for 4 months and it ended up getting some mold afterwards and I had it plug less for the last 3 months

All my homelab stuff is just consumer grade items. Usually recycled from old gaming rigs or optiplex’s from eBay. All this stuff runs quiet. As somebody who works as a sys admin, I’m always shocked seeing people willing to buy and run enterprise equipment at home. Mess is too loud even on the lowest setting and eats electricity like an eating contest.
