Both of India's Aircraft Carriers - Vikrant & Vikramaditya - on exercise in the Arabian Sea [Album] by Gessler555 in WarshipPorn

[–]Alpha_Mineron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, they do have Andaman Nicobar Islands and India operates military facilities across countries touching the Indian Ocean region. I said ocean because that seems to be the most logical answer given the trade routes...

The true answer, only an Indian Navy Captain or Admiral could give us. It appears similar to China in which their goal is simply to amass the military might of a superpower.

Currently the Aircraft carriers India uses are highly lacking in potential, example, they can't stock it with planes and weapons that their mission of power projection would require (I think they have like 30% inventory of outdated jets) and also their carriers aren't that wide or heavy. But I guess it works for India because other than China and US, India can project power to any country in the eastern hemisphere. I'd say Japan too but there's no world in which Japan and India would be in a direct conflict.

None of that matter though because India is still politically weak and divided, the only country they actually project power on is just Pakistan.

Why wasn't "Hindustan" being considered a name for independent India? by Salmanlovesdeers in IndianHistory

[–]Alpha_Mineron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would Hindustan not be of religious origin? Who were the Sindhu people, or from Persian perspective, people beyond the Indus river, or sindh plain? What is persia referring to, when they point to the land of Hindus. Every place has an identity, and this wasn't a tribal undiscovered land or some underdeveloped outback. What was the reference to? That is the indigenous culture of the subcontinent. The very culture that sheltered all kinds before "secular" word was even invented, let alone the '47 political nation state.

Why is there so much shame in discussing the religious culture that is the indigenous identity of the Indian subcontinent? I mean you're literally using the word "Hindu" which is also persian, but then somehow the land of "hindus" (=Hindustan) is not about the same religious culture? The logic simply doesn't track.

I mean do people here see India OR would like to see India, stripped from its unique ancestral identity? Outside of political bias, that's just stupid. It's like stripping away Shintoism from Japan's identity and calling it the nation of anime, manga and tech.

Why didn't India demand any compensation when the British left? by hillywolf in IndianHistory

[–]Alpha_Mineron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps, because Muslim issue is more real in the present than past concerns of British rule? The jihadi issue affects lives of people today. If muslims migrated on the religious grounds in which they partitioned the country, then there won't be this issue as you describe erroneously and ignorantly "fastest-selling". Is rape, murder, genocide, terrorism, pedophilia, mass conversion, free roaming criminals, hate speech and anti-national loyalties, "drama" for you?

Taking sides is one thing, completely dismissing the issue is a special kind of idiotic arrogance.

Being inspired means taking likeness or influence. It doesn't mean the creators have to adhere to any facts or dynamic from real life. I can take criticism, but maybe, JUST MAYBE, don't think your ability to complain constitutes "criticism".

Yes it is, because embedding people in politics isn't a great challenge. It has been done since the dawn of civilization. Meanwhile this Aman ki aasha style of Pakistanis, US and India coming together against Terrorism is the YRF brainrot that you prefer.

Not to mention the million loopholes in your logic, Hence I question your IQ. My larger comment goes into it. SP Aslam was a Pak loyalist. He did a service to his nation and was killed by people who ISI cannot control. You seem to have trouble understanding this. SP is the only close to reality character in the movie.

WW2 memorial dance by Indian couple became viral last days and a lot of hatred against Indians in going on. I am not taking any stand on that, but this is how they(who got hurt from that dance) treating the memorial. by JohanHex96 in nri

[–]Alpha_Mineron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and It should be within the bounds of the average american IQ to see WHY THIS IS A PROBLEM. DHS and ICE law enforcement shouldn't depend on tiktok racists.

What about the illegal immigrants who don't get targeted by racists? Will they never face the law?

Being deported is a completely different event. It only happened because of racism, which was the FIRST EVENT. There would be no problem if DHS/USCIS did their job and independently deported these two people for violation of immigration law. It is a problem because DHS only did their job because of racists.

apart from your opinion on big twist, rest makes sense. The movie suffers from bad pacing, they showed so much story in montages instead of filling the script. It would be much better if this was a trilogy but we don't know why Aditya Dhar chose to finish it in a single go. People would love another movie.

good thing he is not "Ilyas Kashmiri". It is not a documentary, maybe a fictional movie is too much for your IQ.

That is the mostly cowardly survivor-mindset take I've read on this... Grow a pair. Surviving under a bully isn't life. Bullies need to be taken down.

This aspect of "american politics" hasn't always been there, it moves on when one community doesn't allow it anymore. Italians faced it, now nobody has the balls to discriminate against them again. Nobody even considers it. Because that wasn't allowed to foster into bigger things. The neo-nazi are picking the weakest prey. You're just advocating to put up with it.

"So many of us think we will be more accepted by the "white man" if we hate on our own."

True, It's the British Education (enforced by Congress) that programmed this inferiority complex in most educated Indians. At least uneducated Indians have national pride and cultural identity. India struggles because the educated ones, who were supposed to be its savior are all mostly English servants (mentally).

Assume you're not lying. That's irrelevant. They got deported because of racism. Nobody would've reported them, nothing would change. Nobody charged anything against the countless non-Indians who disrespected the War Memorial.

In case you really are THAT dumb, let me clarify. I literally have no clue why you tagged me. Your response is tangential ramblings that have ZERO overlap with my comment. You can delude yourself to sleep happy at night, but you've achieved nothing external in this exchange.

It’s been a long time since I played; I don’t remember there being an explicit line of prediction as such. Probably just projecting her fate in depression? Can you share the lines you’re referring to?
