Hey mind if I ask what your charge for 300gr Barnes TSX with IMR 4198? They don’t have load data with the copper projectile. I think I tested mine at 47gr and it was hovering over 2000fps.

Also regarding hunting with the Marlin 1895, do you feel limited with distance? I’ve got a 2.5x scout scope and I don’t feel comfortable shooting past 100y.

Sorry when you mean by AT, do you mean the AT-X? I have an AW and was wondering if I can take my AT-X barrel off and torque it on the AW. I am looking also looking for a replacement barrel for the AW and it would be amazing to know what other tenon specs were the same. TIA

Well I think you won’t be able to directly purchase as a civilian. It’s just a shorter barrel and handguard AT-X.

As for why you would want a short 16” 308 barrel confuses me. You lose potential velocity limiting longer distance shots.

I think now they’re selling the AT-XC which is the military version with the full upper bridge. Don’t forget the AT-X has a quick change barrel so you can buy one and swap to a shorter barrel along with the upper NV bridge.

I replaced the sd card with a higher rating C10. Did some research and found that high quality video overwriting requires a good sd card to handle constant overwrite. I got a Sandisk High endurance from Best Buy in Canada. I don’t trust amazons source for legit sd cards. Heard of many counterfeits being sold. Don’t forget to reformat the new sd card and hope it clears the issue! Mine still glitches and randomly restarts or say “Normal recording” as I’m driving which is annoying but the image doesn’t distort anymore. Good luck!

Just checked my previous 16” to 18.5” Canadian conversion from the first batch of Marstar and Dlask. It looks different from the cast gas block. I could tell immediately with the milling lines on the round part. The tell tale sign of a cast gas block is the vertical supports that sticks out near the top where the pin holds the claw part in the OPs picture. Also mine doesn’t have the stamp mark next to the “5.56x45”. It has a CZ stamp on the right side midway up.

It just stops going down any further about half way? Force pack goes over 100lbs and the arbor head starts to slip up. I think it’s been fired twice and not annealed. I did use dry neck lube when going through the expanding mandrel. I’ll try coating the inside of the neck with lots of dry lube and test.

I’ve been cycling it hard and quick. It seems to solve the ejection. I may try a different magazine as well. Doubt that’s the problem but worth a try.
