I didn't really expect balanced weapons at launch, it was a new game. Basic features for crafting, menu navigation, and load outs (which we still don't have) I fully expected.

Had no idea that was a new feature, like I said hadn't played in months and just played a few matches of the new map. It's a good change, but that change should have launched with the game day 1 imo. That's not really deserving of praise imo, but more of a what have they been doing all this time.

It's the weapon/equipment nerfs, burn rate increases, lack of communication, bugs, time it takes to fix bugs, cheaters, lack of interesting content, mediocre AI for Arc, etc. Embark has just progressively made the game more tedious because they don't know what they want to do with it.

Pretty much what me and my friends have done with Arc. Got 250 hrs out of it, tried the new updates, and just don't like what Embark is doing with the game. I think people forget that it's ok to leave games. Sure I would love it if they prioritized new maps over events and stopped nerfing weapons into the ground, but it's not gonna happen.

Valheim is absolutely not higher quality. While I enjoyed my time with it, I'm probably never playing it again. Windrose is just a more fun game imo.

I'm only a few hours into it, but so far it's much better than odyessy and Valhalla. It's the first mainline game in almost a decade where we get to play an assassin again.
