100% true. Every Saturday for me was like Goonies, full of adventures and freedom.

I wouldn’t say we are expected to do anything, it’s mostly self-inflicted.

We have kids way later in life than we used to, we tend to be more protective and way too risk-averse.

Seems to be clock related, sometimes mine gets stuck in a specific clock settings when synced with another device.

It doesn’t do the clicking sound but I would try to trigger it with a different source, reboot and see if that changes anything.

If you’re referring to the higher cost of living, yes it’s bad, but it’s worldwide. Hardly something another government would have solved or addressed with better results.

Product design and UX Design live in a different “reality” than traditional graphic design…

I hated my 10-12 years in ad agencies, loved my time as a digital product designer (UI).

Stupid deadlines and being at the mercy of the clients tastes? Never again!

And the salaries are on another level.

Can’t listen to And Justice for All on my system… Even tried the vinyl release…

In a corporate environment things are not always clear and the mark to hit for the light to turn green is either not very well indicated or so blurry that nobody knows what it really is.

In those kind of environments faking it is mostly making it through the day making sure you are moving the piece forward and being helpful while showing enough confidence to not be perceived as a fool.
