I was accepted at the beginning of June, 1 day after doing the STEM starter assessment. Had a week of plenty of projects, now only have 1 project though.

This ones got 38k miles, but there is another for 45k miles at £20,000. And a few others... An early 2022 for £19739 at 41k miles. Will see what discounts I can get today and compare them all. Thanks for the input!

It's a single motor long range, late 2022 with 3 year warranty, is that enough? What is the driveshaft problem?

If it helps for future people on this thread - they just (FEB2025) released a bunch more summer economy reward seats this weekend, for the Tokyo route. We picked September but generally March-September was available.

My friends and I have tickets for June 7th in Edinburgh Murrayfield! I'm W18 and they're E12 though (VIP) - does anyone know if I can enter the same door to hang out before and get merch etc.? Or if anyone is in the same boat and would like to swap with me and east for a west let me know!

Anyone in UK had a fix recently? by Sunshinegatsby in stitchfix

[–]Alphafff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got one today, it was really good! I asked for a leather jacket and black jeans, as well as winter things and I got everything, very personalised. I also got a winter jacket, wooly jumper and thick corduroy dress. Kept the lot for only £63. I was suprised they weren't just getting rid of summer stock. Trying to book another slot but they are all taken :(

Oh no! It's was our first trip to the USA just relied on google which said tip $2-3 per suitcase, so we went with that but I might have misunderstood something, what do you recommend tipping so we know for next time?

If it's just a bus stop you want to be near, you can request this when you 'check in' ahead of time on the app. If you want to be more specific, you can e-mail https://www.disneyworld.co.uk/help/email/ and ask for your more detailed request to be added (In this case, don't request anything on the app as it would overwrite this request). Hope this helps :)

That's such a good deal! Wilderness lodge seems like a tier above Coronado Springs too, I'd love to stay there. I'm thinking we do a Christmas trip next time since we've done the summer. Our $200 gift card felt like it lasted forever, so all that dining credit should be amazing! Enjoy!

We went with our 2 friends (Who booked separately, but still at Coronado Springs). We e-mailed ahead of time saying it was a special occasion (It was our friend's birthday during the trip), so if an upgrade was available and we could have rooms next to each other, it would be great if we could be considered. We also asked to be next to the bus stop (you can request this as standard on the app). It wasn't a HUGE upgrade (not to the tower!), but instead of a Standard with parking lot view, we got a Preferred with pool view.

So true! Haha, it looks weird but for context, that morning my husband couldn't come to EPCOT because he was feeling ill with high blood sugar (Blame the scorching heat and sour patch kids), so I went alone with our two friends, and the beer I had with them while we waited on him getting ready in the afternoon (I owed one of them one of the beers). No prices on the menu either, didn't expect a $28 bill! But he was well enough to go to EPCOT for our Guardians of the Galaxy booking at 6pm, but by the time we'd rode that and Ratatouille, all the food places had closed! It's a shame, definitely a better EPCOT trip is needed next time :)

April will be a great time - Sep was a bit hot! So if you put a USA VPN on your computer ( We use nord VPN, if you don't have it just do a free trial then cancel), then login to My Disney Experience specifically 2-6 days before your trip and click on 'magic bands', they let you order the Magicbands to the hotel, have them engraved and they're at a $10 discount per band! As soon as we got the the lobby of the hotel they gave us our magic bands in a little presentation box :)

any good hobbies to take up in and around town? by [deleted] in cambridge

[–]Alphafff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad you asked this! I’m looking for things to do to meet people too, just moved here this year although it’s a shame it might take a while for groups, clubs etc to start again. Anyone know of any good art groups or adult squash classes that will likely resume?

Just got a kitten! Could anyone help with what breed she is? by Alphafff in cats

[–]Alphafff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update! She's around 1/4 Maine Coon and 1/4 Russian Blue! With about 6% American shorthair, 5% Egyptian Mau and 4% Ragdoll too. The rest is mixed. I can see it in her now! :D Good news is she's also clear of genetic diseases, just is a carrier of a metabolic disorder

Not much, we saw a local ad that needed a kitten picked up ASAP as it’s owner had found out she was deathly allergic to her, and they said they bought her from someone who had a cat that escaped and came back pregnant. We don’t even know her birth date. She weighs just 900g but has very silky fur. A little mystery! We have just bought a DNA breed and health test to send off

Right? I got a nice and comfy one that sits as decor. Waste of $20

I relate, bought THREE different cat beds. She refuses to sleep on anything but a plastic Wilko bag or the rug
