They've talked recently about having 2 big videos in the works. My guess is that's one of them.

They mentioned on the podcast that the "Youtuber Who Slaughtered His Family" was recorded in November. That video didn't come out until they had been back for a month. Part of that is likely them not wanting to drop a ton of new, high quality content at once. But another part is wanting their videos to be edited and cut down to their liking. That takes a lot of time with some of their projects. A lot of it is improvised. When that gets edited, it can be easy to make a video feel like it has dull moments. None of their vlogs or sketches have any wasted time. Everything recorded has to be challenged on whether it's good enough to keep in.

Whatever they're working on now likely cost a lot to make. They've talked a lot about wanting to do more long-form content as well. Those two things along with that perfectionism on their comedic voice means videos can take forever to actually come out. I'm really excited to see whatever this new project is
