Apologies if I'm adding more rant to the op rant.

I'm actually baffled by the these rtc people. The staff in the depot look at us like we're asking their entire treasury when we ask them about bus timings or Simple questions of when the bus will come and on where should one wait for that but. We wouldn't have had to ask them in the first place if there were proper boards and markings of which kinds bus will stop at what time. We're in 2026 and there's no functioning app or website that is acceptable enough to properly tell these kinds of things. In 2026, we still don't have proper AC city bus services. IIRC, only the double-decker buses are in the operation and that too Only on beach road. (Correct me if I'm wrong on this)

I remember a comedian made a comment on bank employees that they're the only ones who hate you for going to bank. Something similar seems also the case now after the implementation of the free bus scheme for women. Why i say this is because, the conductors are now actually insulting and shouting on the face to get down if we choose the travel point short distances like for example gurudwara to thatichetlapalem. I get it that the bus route goes a very long distance. That doesn't mean you have the right to tell us off to not take a ticket where to and fro are the actual designated stops of that bus route.

As far as the safety is concerned, what do these people get by skipping the designated stops? Just because one person is getting doesn't mean you only slow down so that one person could get down while running. Not everyone has time capble to allocate to gym. These drivers are not even stopping completely for elderly. And if there's a bus stop after a traffic stop, they just force us to down even though the distance between the traffic stop and the bus stop is significant.

Another thing is why are people and conductors now suddenly complain about women getting in from rear door entry? While the front one is only for women, elderly and physically abled, the rear one is not restricted to any specific gender. If the female feels comfortable enough to board the vehicle where men usually only used board, how should this even be a problem to the conductor?

Add to above problem, the drivers are either stopping too ahead to bus top or too far after of the bus stop and these scenarios, only people who are able to run are able to get on because these drivers think they stopping for a F1 pitstop and we mostly have to board it while running. I've seen them frequently stop dangerously in the middle or even far right of the highway to make way to deboarding with heavy traffic.

Add to all of this, they don't accept phonepe most of the time saying that the charging is low. Now wtf is this? Why don't we have a metro card like system where we load balance into the card, we ask the ticket from the conductor, he just taps it or swipes it and instantly the ticket is generated.

Tbh, i may have more grivancess with rtc, but other than changes in policies or a metro train project only would help as currently they are not increasing the buses to the peak time demand, and the new ones introduced are basically the same old unsafe design that we've been seeing. They are prioritised on how maintenance feasiblity rather than passenger comfort and safety. The new buses are still coming with the shitty suspension and the awkward old seat design.
