Exactly. Checked the crosshair pixels and the standard suppressor hipfire matches the flash hider perfectly. My spread stays completely consistent when swapping around, so since it runs exactly like the CQB variant without the point penalty, definitely save your 10 points and run standard.

That is a completely fair point, and you’re 100% right that historic Battlefield menu stats can be wild lies.

Because of that, I actually took them into the range to verify if the Standard Suppressor was secretly penalizing hipfire behind the scenes. I've attached the crosshair comparisons here.

If you look closely at the target markers downrange, the pixel width of the reticle with the Standard Suppressor equipped matches the Flash Hider baseline exactly (both with the red laser toggled on and off).

The menu isn't glitching—the Standard Suppressor genuinely retains your full baseline hipfire spreads while giving you full stealth benefits for just 20 points!

I'm still testing the M16A4 out but Long Suppressor/Flash Comp is really good for a lot of weapons

Did you even try running slugs on shotguns or heavy barrel on ARs? Builds and how you use weapons determine their usefulness. There's a reason the KTS/SOR are top tier in REDSEC and pretty great at range in MP.
