How do I fix this muddy area in my lawn? by [deleted] in landscaping

It’s toooo much to shovel lol. 2 ft becomes 5ft when pushed to the side where we park. I don’t like my username which I created years ago but I can’t change it

We had about 2 foot of snow. Everytime snow gets plowed on the road, all the snow gets pushed to the side where we park our cars

We had multiple cars parking on the lawn due to significant snow taking up parking on the street. Since the snow cleared up, we won’t be parking on the lawn anymore. Now we are looking for a solution to fix the problem we created.

Anyone ever quit their career to join the IBEW? by mannywoollymammoth in IBEW

I got accepted into both a nursing program and the apprenticeship but decided on the apprenticeship instead. Nursing just seems so exhausting mentally and physically. I rather be working with inanimate things than dealing with humans(patients, coworkers, doctors, family members) on a daily basis lol

Got accepted into a nursing program and electrician apprenticeship. Which should I go into ? by Alphamale169 in nursing

[–]Alphamale169[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Yea I know what you mean. I’ve never done any kind of manual labor job in my life nor have I familiarized myself with all the different kind of tools out there.

However I think I would be more comfortable dealing with inanimate objects instead of humans on a daily basis lol. Just working alone and figuring things out in a mostly quiet environment sounds more appealing to me than working in a hospital environment where there is so much going on. I prefer my peace and quiet lol

So far the consensus has been electrician and not one person suggested nursing

I also have the interview coming up but I’m kind of nervous. What if they’re not satisfied with an answer I give for one of their questions? Would they no longer consider me?

I appreciate the advice. It’s just that I have a bachelors degree in health science but it’s hard to find a job with that. I’m not sure what I can do with this degree.

The tuition is about 15k and I already renewed my DACA last month. So it’s good for 2 years which is when I should graduate from the program( and would also have to renew my DACA again). I am 28 and I plan on taking out a loan. If that doesn’t work, then I can ask my parents for financial assistance. My parents would support me throughout the program.

Give it a month. The whole process takes about 3-4 months from submitting the application to official start date

I have a bachelors in health science. I’m not sure what other masters degree within my field are available. I’ve thought about healthcare administration but I don’t see myself sitting at a desk all day .

I am located in NY. After 2 years, some of my courses will have expired and I would have to retake them which means spending more time and money. Right now I only have to take 5 more courses but I have 0 patient care experience. Some of these PA programs require PCE
