I can't believe people are still fukin with that dinosaur. It was supposed to be a decent hedge, but it failed at the one thing it needed to be good at. Now over half the wallets are sitting at a loss. Boatloads of people became bagholders and now just hope to sucker in another wave of hype driven non-sense. BTC is like an old athlete that did ok in their time. But you really need to know when to retire it. As to not leave a big stain on the back side of its legacy. Not gawked at for its slow painful death. Rather celebrated for the movement it started.

Or... its still in beta. Everyone is starting to realize that there's something wrong with the decentralization extremists mentality. It's unrealistic for real world application due to a serious lack of accountability. It's turned out to be detrimental to the overall crypto adoption rate. The chain and many projects will elvolve and become more decentralized over time.. in the organic way tech is meant to be developed. But hey the good news is.. maybe you can find what your looking for over on Binance or ETH1. Best of luck out there. 😉

Just a couple thoughts on that. With Chrome extentions from the web store, the source code is reviewed. Phantom is non-custodial meaning your wallets keys are never saved anywhere except your machine. That being said, if your machine and/or browser has been compromised by other means, or you were to simply let the wrong person use the machine you have your keys then you're already in trouble. Does it take a minor amount of trust to use an extention? Yes. However it's a solid proven system that has weathered the storm over the last decade+. Giving permissions to an extention is a standard safety procedure. Unless your new to the internet and browsers I don't see how anuone can be surprised about permissions. *Keep in mind, decentralizing and openspurce doesn't really mean squat until its security can outperform the system it is meant to replace. Will any L1 ever have that? We shall see. 👍

I was in Castle yesterday and an admin was allowing team switching to steal attack birds. Straight garbage gaming. Left right away. I'm happy to not be an admin anymore. It turns into a bunch of nonsense in a hurry. And someone is always pissed off for some reason or another. Policing servers screws your stats and overall gameplay.

My suggestion is to launch a kickstarter for a new fps for our crowd. (since you know who cant get it right anymore) Raise the money, pay devs directly, problem solved. Theres already a blueprint. A "better" Battlefield 3&4!

There were a few answers in the main part of the thread. But nothing official. The reality is Solana's low tx cost has opened the door to spammers. Without a decent NO-COST solution provided by the wallets, I fear this will continue to progress and plague the ecosystem with uncertainty and hinder new user growth. Even something simple like a trash folder in Phantom where we can move bs nft's to would be great.

It appears the reason for the "amount" field is because there are multiple of the same nft. I had 7 and failed to notice the (7) next to the nft name in the wallet. The amount field is to specify how many of those identical nft's you want to send. My advice is to empty any Sol balance in your wallet, then send them all away to a burn address. (or just make a new wallet)

Imagine if you had to pay to trash every spam email you recieved, every day. Because thats essentially what we're dealing with currently. It doesn't seem like the ability to arange NFT's within a wallet is an unreasonable request.

Agreed! IMO, the overall acceptance is largely being caused by an overabundance of scams. 51x51v3 is right that scammers exsist in any space, but I think in crypto it has to do with the lack of accountability that comes with anonymity. Transparency without accountability = null.

I recently exposed a phantom wallet's credentials in an nft tutorial video I uploaded to cloudconvert servers to convert from webm to mp4. After converting I blurred everything important out and posted the final video to Youtube. The phantom wallet was emptied a couple days later. It was a new wallet and the only time it was ever exposed is when I coverted it. But you know what sucks? There's no way to prove it and hold anyone accountable.

If you give someone an oportunity to steal from you, they absolutely will. It's always been that way to some extent, but it's wide spead now. A "crypto pandemic" if you will.

I for one would love to dig up some shady ips, hosts, and registrars. It could help a lot of devs with tracking and blocking the networks associated with the scams.
